Make sure the power switch on the car is set to the OFF position. Locate the battery compartment on the bottom of the car, and loosen the screw on the battery cover and press release tab on cover. Insert 4 AA batteries correctly by matching the + and polarity markings as indicated. Replace the battery compartment cover and tighten screw. Controller Batteries Battery Cover Screw Battery Cover Release Tab 2 AA Batteries Alignment Lever To keep the car driving straight locate the alignment level on the bottom of the car. Move the lever in the direction the car needs to go in order to drive straight. Make small adjustments. 4 AA Batteries POWER Car Power Switch Controller Power Switch On On Engine Start Button To power on, locate the on/off switch on the front controller and switch that to the on position. Next locate the on/off switch on the bottom of car and switch that to the on position. Press the right top button on the controller to start engine. Note: Always turn the controller on rst. OPERATION Power Indicator Light Forward Reverse Engine Start and Siren Button Left Right Power On/Off Remove the battery cover screw located on the back of controller and press the battery door release tab. Open the cover and insert (2) AA batteries as shown. Close the cover and re-tighten the battery cover screw. Note: The battery terminals must be positioned as shown. Press the engine start and the engine sound will begin. Press up on the remote toggle to move the car FORWARD. Press down remote to move the car BACKWARD. Push remote toggle right to TURN RIGHT while moving. Push remote toggle left to TURN LEFT while moving.
