Keep safety as well as performance in mind when selecting your installation site, especially where there are electric power and phone lines. 3. When installing your antenna, note the following:

Do not work on a wet or windy day;
Wear shoes with rubber soles and heels, rubber gloves, long sleeved shirt or jacket. 4. When the system is operational, avoid standing directly in front of the antenna. Strong RF fields are present when the transmitter is on. 5. A safety grounding system is necessary to protect your outdoor installation from lightning strikes and the build-up of static electricity. When mounting the Outdoor AP on the antenna mast, you have to connect the Outdoor AP to the same grounding system* with the AC wall outlet.
* The grounding system must comply with the National Electrical Code and safety standards that apply in your country. 6. Physical Installation STEP 1: Connect an Ethernet Cable to the LAN1 (PoE) Port on the AP. Wall Mount base) Securely mount the base to the wall using wall plug and wall screw. Use the included mount screw (hexagonal hole) to lock the DAP-3666 to the pole/wall mount 4 Wall Mount Pole Mount With the included hexagon socket spanner, tighten the mount screw until the DAP-3666 is secured. STEP 4: Connect Grounding Wire A grounding wire is recommended to protect your device from lightning strikes and the buildup of static electricity. Attach the grounding wire to the DAP-3666 using the included screw. Tighten the grounding wire to the DAP-3666 until it is securely attached. Attach the other end of the grounding wire to either the wall or pole mount. Ensure that the wall or pole mount is connected to an electrical ground. STEP 5: Configuring the Access Point AP LAN1 (PoE) A B PoE Switch Computer Note: D-Link recommends configuring the device before mounting it. Using D-Link Nuclias Connect The DAP-3666 is designed to be managed through D-Link Nuclias Connect. Refer to the D-Link Nuclias Connect Manual for detailed configuration instructions. 3666 using its web user interface (UI). Refer to the DAP-3666 User Manual for detailed configuration instructions. Use the following methods to access the web user interface:
