9 Daylight Saving and Leap Year Adjustment | Myles mom Mae-lel le 13 Sleeping to Music Timer Press the POWER button to turn On the unit, then press the SOURCE button to select either Bluetooth, FM Radio or AUX mode to listen to music or radio. ell cl Down or Up All Daylight Saving Time (DST)and Leap Year adjustment are made automatically by the SmartSet*internal computer as follows:
Start of Daylight Saving time:
At 2:00 AM on the 2nd Sunday in March, the clock will automatically advance to 3:00 AM End of Daylight Saving time:
At 3:00 AM on the 1st Sunday in November, the clock will automatically reset to 2:00 AM Checking and Turning Off/On the Start/End of Daylight Saving Time:
1.Press and hold the SOURCE button for 6 seconds during Standby Mode, the DST Start Date for the year will show on display. Press thePl button to turn it OFF. If you want to activate it again, press the PI button to toggle it 2.Press the SOURCE button after DST start date fixed, the DST End Date for the year will show on display. Press the>I button to turn it OFF. If you want to activate it again, press thePl button to toggle it 3.To skip the process after DST set as desired, left idle for 5 seconds to restore clock on display. Leap Year:
At 12:00 Midnight on February 28th, the calendar display will change to"2 29". 10 Setting the Alarm IMPORTANT: Alarm can only be set in Standby Mode, where the function of Bluetooth, Radio and AUX are disabled (i.e. MHz, BT, and AUX indicators are Off). Your SmartSet clock radio has two separate alarms, ALARM1 (AL1) and ALARM2 (AL2), that can be set and used independently. You may use the alarms to wake two people up at different times, or you may use one alarm for weekdays and the other one for weekend. Adjusting the Wake-up Times:

Weekdays Weekends Activating and Deactivating Wake-to-Radio or Wake-to-Buzzer Alarm Mode:
Press repeatedly the AL1 or AL2 button to activate your desired Alarm Mode When the ALARM 1/2 Radio indicator glows, the Wake-to-Radio alarm will be On at wake-up time When the ALARM1/2 Buzzer indicator glows, the Wake-to-Buzzer alarm will be On at wake-up time To completely turn Off the alarm, press repeatedly the AL1 or AL2 button until the ALARM1/2 Radio or ALARM1/2 Buzzer indicator is Off.
Every Days Wake-To-Radio and Alarm Volume Setting:
1.Press the POWER button to turn the unit On 2.Press the SOURCE button to select FM Radio mode. 3.Tune in or recall from Memory the station that you wish to hear when the alarm comes On. 4.Press VOL+ or VOL- to set the maximum radio volume at which the alarm will gradually reach at wake-up time. 5.Default alarm volume is U08 for radio volume set up between U00-U08
(before the unit turned Off to Standby Mode). For a louder alarm, set up radio volume above U08 before the unit turned Off. Snooze Alarm ;
When the alarm comes On, press the SNOOZEZ *button to pause it for 9 minutes. Alarm indicator will Flash. If not turned Off, the Snooze Alarm will only be active for one hour. To turn Off Snooze Alarm, press the POWER button once. Press the POWER button to turn On the unit and then press the SOURCE button to select FM Radio mode (MHz indicator On). Manually Tune In your Favorite Stations:
2. Tuning in FM Station by pressing repeatedly the TUNE UPPlor TUNE DOWN K button to your desired FM frequency in MHz 1. Press the SOURCE button to switch to Radio mode Press 0 Auto Searching/Scanning FM Stations:
Press the TUNE UPPlor TUNE DOWN I button for 2 seconds and release Searching wil stop at a station with acceptable reception Press 2s and release Storing Favorite Stations onto Memory (up to 20 stations can be stored):
1.In Radio Mode, use above tuning methods to search and tune in your favorite stations. 2.Press the STO. Button, a Program Number PXX will be blinking on the display.Press the TUNE UPPlor TUNE DOWN I button to change the Program Number between P01 and P20, once you selected the desired Program Number, press the STO. button again, then your favorite station will be stored onto the selected Program Number Memory. DOWN or UP Ci rN . ream Press briefly Recalling Favorite Stations from Memory (Program Number P01-P20):
1.In Radio Mode, press the MEM. button. Program Number PXX will be displayed. Press the MEM. button repeatedly, the Program Number will advance, or you can also press the TUNE UP Plor TUNE DOWN I button to select the Program Number on which your favorite station is stored. Release the button and listen to your favorite station. wi hem Press Note: Keep the clock radio away from other electronic devices to avoid from radio interference. For better reception, fully extend and orientate the AC Adapter cable, which also acts as a FM antenna. W Pairing Bluetooth Speaker

Paired device list. If pairing successful, the unit will prompt, and BT indicator will become solid Automatic connection with your Bluetooth devices is possible if they have been paired successfully before with this unit After paired, you can play your music through this Bass Boosted Bluetooth Speaker.
(BT PAIR) Press flee Note: If pairing unsuccessful, all previously paired Bluetooth devices around should be disconnected or turned off first, in order to avoid making any auto reconnection between them. Then, set this unit to Bluetooth mode, and tap the Bluetooth switch on your phone/device off and back on again to refresh/search any nearby CKS1507 for pairing. If you want to disconnect this unit from your Bluetooth enabled device after pairing successful, press and hold the BT PAIR button for 2 seconds. To reconnect this unit, just press and hold the BT PAIR button for 2 seconds, or select CKS1507 again from the Available/Paired device list. Press and hold Sleep Mode Setting:
1.Press and hold the SLEEP button. The display will show the sleep timer. 2.Press the UP or DOWN button to choose your desired sleep timer (02-90 minutes). 3.Release all buttons, the sleep timer will start counting down, and turn Off the unit when the desired sleep timer elapsed. 4.To display the sleep timer during count down process, press the SLEEP button. 5.To cancel the sleep timer during count down process, press the POWER button to shut Off the unit. ar 4- Level Dimmer Control Press the DIMMER z2"* button while in Off/Standby Mode to select any of the four levels. It also can be adjusted when the Radio or AUX is On. 15 Bedroom/Desktop LED Decor Press the LED button to turn the Blue LED On to decorate your bedroom or desk. To turn it Off, press the button once again. c 16 Enjoying Audio Source via AUX IN Jack Press the POWER button to turn the unit On. Press the SOURCE button until AUX appears on the display, connect your audio or mobile device and play music through the unit with the 3.5mm AUX IN jack (3.5mm audio cord not provided). A USB for Charging This clock radio has a USB port at the back, which can provide output 5V up to 1.5A to charge devices like smartphone, portable audio player, etc. viaa USB charging cable (not included). The lithium backup battery needs replacement when the LOW BATTERY indicator (2m flashes, otherwise, the time and alarm settings will be lost/reset after a power outage. 2. Leave the AC adapter connected to your AC outlet to retain memory while the original battery is removed. 3. Unscrew the battery holder from the cabinet with a small screwdriver and insert a new battery with the same CR2032 (3V) or equivalent type into the holder the same way, observing the positive (+) polarity before sliding the holder back into the slot. The LOW BATTERY indicator should then be Off. 19 Care and Maintenance Care Of Cabinets If the cabinet becomes dusty, wipe it with a soft cloth.If the cabinet becomes smudged or dirty, clean it with a soft, slightly dampened cloth . * The battery may explode if mistreated. Do not attempt to recharge it or disassemble it. Do not dispose of the old battery in a fire. 20 LIMITED WARRANTY Emerson Radio Corp. warrants this product to be free from manufacturing defects in original material, including original parts, and workmanship under normal home use and conditions (manufacturing defect) for a period of ninety (90) days from date of original purchase in, and if used in the United States.
