Ericsson AB requests a Class II Permissive Change for the above-mentioned FCC Identifier. New functionality (NR) has been added in software, as described/covered in exhibit 12 and supporting documentation. The radio operates in the Cellular band as per 47 CFR Part 27. This radio (Radio 2212 B66A) is designed for use in WCDMA, LTE (NB-IoT), NR cellular telephone system. This FDD radio operates in Band 66A, the transmitter from 2110 - 2180 MHz and the receiver from 1710 - 1780 MHz. It supports radio access technology SR & MR WCDMA, LTE (NB-IoT), NR. It supports channel bandwidths of 5, 10, 15, 20 MHz for LTE and NR. The radio supports modulation type WCDMA: QPSK, 16QAM, 64QAM LTE & NR: QPSK, 16QAM, 64QAM, 256QAM. The radio has the ability to be used in a RBS system configured for 3GPP up to 2x2 MIMO/Spatial multiplexing, carrier aggregation technologies. The radio will in normal mode operate at a maximum power of 80 W (49 dBm) at the output connectors. The radio has two (2) combined TX/RX ports. This radio will always require a license for transmission. The Exhibit 8 user manuals submitted with this application is generic and may cover multiple products. This application is only valid for the model specified in the Exhibit 6 test report. depth information and a very wide distribution, we believe that you can understand our concerns. We are strong in our belief that all vendors in the industry need to compete by their own merits. We regard these Exhibits/Items to be our intellectual property and therefore as confidential information. There are advanced technical and design solutions/information in the Exhibits/Items, as mentioned above, that we regard as Ericsson proprietary, with actual and potential patents pending. The information can be advantageous to our competitors as well as sources seeking ways to hack past the built-in security functionality.
