Ericsson AB requests a Class II Permissive Change for the above mentioned FCC Identifier. New functionality (NB-IoT) has been added in software, as described/covered in exhibit 12 and supporting documentation. The radio operates in the Cellular band as per 47 CFR Part 24. This radio (Radio RUS02 B2) is designed for use in LTE, WCDMA, GSM cellular telephone system. This FDD radio operates in Band 2, the transmitter from 1930 MHz to 1990 MHz and the receiver from 1850 MHz to 1910 MHz. It supports radio access technology MR L+W+G, it supports channel bandwidths of 1.4, 3, 5, 10, 15, 20 MHz for LTE and 4.2 to 5 MHz for WCDMA. The radio supports modulation type QPSK, 16QAM, 64QAM, 256 QAM for LTE. QPSK, 16QAM, 64QAM for WCDMA. GMSK, 8-PSK, AQPSK, 16QAM, 32QAM for GSM. The radio has the ability to be used in a RBS system configured for 3GPP up to 4x4 MIMO/Spatial multiplexing, beam-

forming and NB-IoT technologies. The radio will in normal mode operate at a maximum power of 80 W (49 dBm) at the output connector. The radio has a combined TX/RX port and a separate RX-port. This radio will always require a license for transmission. The Exhibit 8 user manuals submitted with this application is generic and may cover multiple products. This application is only valid for the model specified in the Exhibit 6 test report. Ericsson AB requests a Grant of Certification (Type Acceptance) for the above mentioned FCC Identifier. This base station transceiver (Radio Unit RUS 02 B2) is designed for use in GSM, WCDMA and LTE broadband PCS system. The transmitter will operate from 1930 MHz to 1990 MHz. It supports Channel Bandwidth of 1.4, 3, 5, 10, 15 and 20 MHz for LTE. The receiver circuit supports 1850 MHz to 1910 MHz. This base station transceiver (RU) supports modulation type GMSK, 8PSK, 16QAM, 32QAM and AQPSK for GSM, and QPSK, 16QAM and 64QAM for WCDMA and LTE. This base station transceiver (RU) is appropriate to use in different Ericsson radio base stations without re-measurement and re-filing when introducing a new base station type. The base station operates in the personal communications services band as per 47 CFR Part 24 subpart E. It meets the requirements of 3GPP specification for operation in GSM, WCDMA and LTE cellular systems. This base station transceiver (RUS 02 B2) will in normal mode operates at a nominal power out of 20, 40, 60 and 80 watts at the output connector. The Exhibit 8 user manuals submitted with this application is generic and may cover multiple products. This application is only valid for the model specified in the Exhibit 12 circuit description.
