(dBi) 2 2 2 According to section 1.1310 of FCC 47 CFR Part 1, limits for maximum permissible exposure (MPE) are as following TA Technology (Shanghai)Co.,Ltd. Test Report Report No.: RXA1503-0042MPE01 Page 3 of 5 Note1. Occupational/controlled limits apply in situations in which persons are exposed as a consequence of their employment provided those persons are fully aware of the potential for exposure and can exercise control over their exposure. Limits for occupational/controlled exposure also apply in situations when an individual is transient through a location where occupational / controlled limits apply provided he or she is made aware of the potential for exposure. Note2: General population/uncontrolled exposures apply in situations in which the general public may be exposed, or in which persons that are exposed as a consequence of their employment may not be fully aware of the potential for exposure or can not exercise control over their exposure. TA Technology (Shanghai)Co.,Ltd. Test Report Report No.: RXA1503-0042MPE01 Page 4 of 5 The maximum permissible exposure for 300~1500MHz is f/1500, 1500~100,000MHz is f/1500.So Band 802.11b/g/n The maximum permissible exposure 1 mW/cm IMPORTANT NOTE: To comply with the FCC RF exposure compliance requirements, the antenna(s) used for this transmitter must be installed to provide a separation distance of at least 20 cm from all persons and must not be co-located or operating in conjunction with any other antenna or transmitter. No change to the antenna or the device is permitted. Any change to the antenna or the device could result in the device exceeding the RF exposure requirements and void users authority to operate the device. TA Technology (Shanghai)Co.,Ltd. Test Report Report No.: RXA1503-0042MPE01 Page 5 of 5 RF Exposure Calculations:
The following information provides the minimum separation distance for the highest gain antenna provided. This calculation is based on the conducted power, considering maximum power and antenna gain. The formula shown in KDB 865664 D01 is used in the calculation. Equation from KDB 865664 D01, Edition 97-01 is:
S= PG / 4R2 where: S = power density (in appropriate units, e.g. mW/cm2) P = Time-average maximum tune up procedure (in appropriate units, e.g., mW) G = the numeric gain of the antenna R = distance to the center of radiation of the antenna (20 cm = limit for MPE) So, the numeric gain (G) of the antenna with a gain specified in dB is determined by Numeric gain (G)=10^(antenna gain/10)=10^(2/10)=1.58 dB 802.11b PG = 23dBm+ (1.58dB) =24.58dBm=287mW 802.11g PG = 23dBm+ (1.58dB) =24.58dBm= 287mW 802.11n(20M) PG = 23.5dBm+(1.58dB)=25.08dBm= 322mW R =20 cm
= 3.1416 Solving for S, the power density at 20 cm is Test Result (mW/cm2) Band 802.11b 802.11g 802.11n(20M) 0.06 0.06 0.06 Limit Value (mW/cm2) 1 mW/cm 1 mW/cm 1 mW/cm Note: For mobile or fixed location transmitters, minimum separation distance is 20cm, even if calculations indicate MPE distance is less.

Test Configuration Test Mode The EUT was programmed to be in continuously transmitting mode and the transmit duty cycle is not less than 98%. The EUT has been associated with peripherals and configuration operated in a manner tended to maximize its emission characteristics in a typical application. The radiated emission was measured in the following position: EUT stand-up position (Z axis), lie-down position (X, Y axis). The worst emission was found in stand-up position (Z axis) and the worst case was recorded. In order to find the worst case condition, Pre-tests are needed at the presence of different data rate. Pressure 101.5kPa Method of Measurement The Equipment Under Test (EUT) was set up on a non-conductive table in the semi-anechoic chamber. The test was performed at the distance of 3 m between the EUT and the receiving antenna. The turntable shall be rotated from 0 to 360 degrees for detecting the maximum of radiated spurious signal level. The measurements shall be repeated with orthogonal polarization of the test antenna. RBW is set to 100kHz.The data of cable loss and antenna factor has been calibrated in full testing frequency range before the testing. Sweep the whole frequency band through the range from 9kHz to the 10th harmonic of the carrier, and the emissions less than 20 dB below the permissible value are reported. Set the spectrum analyzer in the following:
(a) PEAK: RBW=VBW=1MHz / Sweep=AUTO
(b) AVERAGE: RBW=1MHz / VBW=1MHz / Sweep=AUTO This setting method can refer to KDB 558074. The field strength of spurious emission was measured in the following position: EUT stand-up position (Z axis), lie-down position (X, Y axis). The worst emission was found in stand-up position (Y axis) and the antenna is vertical. The test is in transmitting mode. Test setup Note: Area side: 2.4mX3.6m TA Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. Pressure 102.5kPa Method of Measurement The test set-up was made in accordance to the general provisions of ANSI C63.10-2013.The Equipment Under Test (EUT) was set up on a non-conductive table in the semi-anechoic chamber. The test was performed at the distance of 3 m between the EUT and the receiving antenna. The radiated emissions measurements were made in a typical installation configuration. Sweep the whole frequency band through the range from 9 kHz to the 10th harmonic of the carrier, and the emissions less than 20 dB below the permissible value are reported. During the test, below 30MHz, the center of the loop shall be 1 meters; above 30MHz, the height of receive antenna shall be moved from 1 to 4 meters, and the antenna shall be performed under horizontal and vertical polarization. The turntable shall be rotated from 0 to 360 degrees for detecting the maximum of radiated spurious signal level. The measurements shall be repeated with orthogonal polarization of the test antenna. The data of cable loss and antenna factor has been calibrated in full testing frequency range before the testing. Set the spectrum analyzer in the following:
Below 1GHz (detector: Peak and Quasi-Peak) RBW=100 kHz / VBW=300 kHz / Sweep=AUTO Above 1GHz (detector: Peak):
(a) PEAK: RBW=1MHz VBW=3MHz/ Sweep=AUTO
(b) AVERAGE: RBW=1MHz / VBW=3MHz / Sweep=AUTO The radiated emission was measured in the following position: EUT stand-up position (Z axis), lie-down position (X, Y axis). The worst emission was found in stand-up position (Z axis) and the worst case was recorded. The test is in transmitting mode. TA Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. Pressure 101.5kPa Methods of Measurement The EUT is placed on a non-metallic table of 80cm height above the horizontal metal reference ground plane. During the test, the EUT was operating in its typical mode. The test method is according to ANSI C63.10-2013. Connect the AC power line of the EUT to the L.I.S.N. Use EMI receiver to detect the average and Quasi-peak value. RBW is set to 9 kHz, VBW is set to 30kHz. The measurement result should include both L line and N line. The test is in transmitting mode. Test Setup Note: AC Power source is used to change the voltage 110V/60Hz. Limits Frequency
