This device is intended for use by healthy people aged 14 to 60, who are between 1.6m/ 5'3"
and 2m/6'7" of height (recommended 1.65m/ 5'5" to 1.95m/6'5) and weight below 130kg
(185 lbs). Do not use the KAT Walk C if you do not meet the age, height or weight require-
ments, or if your physical condition does not allow for moderate to intense physical activity. If you are uncertain of your health condition, please consult your doctor rst. It is recom-
mended to use the device for no longer than 1 hour without a break. The device has been designed specically for personal entertainment. Use for any other purpose, including but not limited to medical rehabilitation is strictly prohibited. Please use the device according to the corresponding instructions or under the guidance of a professional to avoid injuries. Pregnant women or those with epilepsy, cardiopulmonary diseases, eye diseases, mental illnesses, anemia, and people undergoing postoperative recovery are strictly prohibited from using this device. The device contains moving parts, please do not approach it during use by others to avoid accidents. You should pay special attention to children and pets. Spectators should always keep the safe distance of at least 1 meter. In order to avoid injuries, always use the dedicated shoes and waist harness according to the instructions. Dedicated shoes are only suitable for use with KAT Walk C and it is strictly prohibited to use them in any other situation or for any other purpose. Always check the device before use to conrm that it is in a normal state without cracks, scratches, bumps, bends, oddly moving parts or other signs of wear and tear. Check all con-
nections and moving parts to ensure that the nuts, bolts, and other joint structures are tightly fastened. The product base is slippery. When stepping on and o, mind your feet and make sure the anti-slip strap is pulled down onto the shoe hole. Hold the back-support plate to keep balance. Before use, ensure the safety harness is tightly fastened according to the instruc-
tions in this manual. Do not use the device with the safety belts unfastened. When using the device, do not try to purposely reach beyond the product base with your foot, and mind the gap between the chassis and the base shell to avoid unnecessary safety risks. Be sure to read and follow all the product instructions and warnings of your VR Headset. -Current locomotion mode. 2.3 Controller Options Click the controller options button in the Gateway homepage to enter the settings:

-Enabling the independent head and body directions. 2.4 Locomotion Modes Click the Locomotion Modes button in the Gateway homepage to enter the locomotion settings. From here you can choose and adjust the available locomotion modes. The main mode: inSteam 22 inSteam is furtherly divided into Turbo and Global locomotion modes. With the Turbo Mode enabled, the software will automatically recognize the current game and load the pre-set settings conguration optimal for this game. Global mode allows you to set a manual conguration. The Keyboard Mode lets you achieve movement in all directions by emulating the function of the WSAD buttons in some games. Xinput mode lets you achieve movement in all directions by taking over the function of a con-
nected XBOX Controller Joystick or emulating a virtual controller joystick in some games. 23 2.5Conguration library In the conguration library page, you can view the list of supported games including the recom-

25 2.7 Recommended Games Library In the recommended games page, you can view the popular games, check whether the game is currently installed on your PC or proceed directly to the Steam Store page to purchase it. 2.8 System Settings The system settings page shows the currently selected language and the current inSteam driver and KAT Gateway versions. From this page you can exit the software, change the language and reinstall the drivers, as well as set the software auto-start rules:

The anti-slip strap is located at the back side of the shoe. When pulled onto the shoe hill, it increases your stability and ensures you can get on and o the platform safely. Before getting on and o the platform, pull the anti-slip strap onto the shoe hill to cover the low-friction block as shown in the picture below. Once youre on the platform with the waist harness securely fastened, you can pull up the anti-slip strap as shown in the picture below. You can now walk on the platform!
