SAR compliance has been established for direct laptop/tablet and USB cable plug-in configurations with a separation distance of 5mm between the particular dongle orientation and flat phantom. This device was tested for SAR compliance for use in notebook computers with connector configurations as described in this filing, and can be used with notebook computers with the same operating configurations and exposure conditions, with only minor configuration and construction differences. End-users must be provided with antenna installation instructions and transmitter operating conditions for satisfying RF exposure compliance. The highest reported SAR level is 1.40 W/kg.
