Prior to operation, check the unit and power cord for physical damage. Do not use if physical damage has occurred. Before plugging the unit in, ensure that the outlet provides the same type and level of power required by the device. If anything is missing or damaged, please contact Monoprice Customer Service for a replacement. 1x 38038 Bluetooth Receiver 1x Users Manual 1x USB Charging Cable PRODUCT OVERVIEW OPERATION Power On/Off - Charging Power On: Plug the Receivers 3.5mm male jack into the auxiliary port of your vehicle or speaker. Hold the MFB button for 3 seconds. The LED indicator light will flash and the device will note Power On. Power Off: Press the MFB button for 3 seconds and the device will power off. When the battery reaches a low enough level the device will indicate low battery and will also notify compatible connected devices. Connect the Receiver to the included vehicle adapter or use the Micro USB Port to charge the device. Note: The device can be operated while charging via the micro USB port. Bluetooth Pairing Paring Mode: When pairing for the first time, make sure the device is off, then press the MFB button for 3 seconds until the LED Indicator light flashes blue. Open the Bluetooth settings on your device and search for MP38038. After a short delay, the LED Indicator light will slowly flash blue, indicating a successful pairing then stay solid blue. Functions Play/Pause: A quick, single press of the MFB button will play or pause the current track. Next/Previous Track: Press the > button to skip to the next track. Press the < button to go back to the previous track. Increase Volume: Press and hold the +
button Decrease Volume: Press and hold the -
button Answer/End Incoming Calls: When receiving an incoming call, a quick, single press of the MFB button will answer the call. A 2 second hold of the MFB button will reject the incoming call. Redial: In Standby Mode, double click the MFB button to redial the last outgoing phone number. Switch from 38038 to the Connected Device during a call: Press and hold the MFB button for 2 seconds during the conversation.
