Ensure that air can circulate freely through the ventilation holes on Soundbase. Install the Soundbase horizontally on a at surface. Only use attachments/accessories specied by the manufacturer Do not attempt to disassemble the Soundbase. Keep Soundbase away from any liquid and moisture. Ensure all audio connections of the unit are connected before connecting to the main power socket. Unplug the power cord from the outlet when the unit is not in use for an extended period of time. Take the screws and washers out of packaging. Attach the base to the body aligning the two holes in the base with the two holes in the tower, then screw the base into the body. NOTE: The LED light below the button indicates the current setting. 1 2 3 4 5 7 Power Press the power button to turn the unit off or on. Press again to put the Soundbase in standby mode.

Connect the TVs optical output port to the Soundbases OPTICAL port with the included Optical Cable. Note: Remove plastic protectors from ends of optical cable before use. If there is no sound when using an optical cable:
1 2 3 4 Enter your TVs* settings menu. Select the Audio or Sound Settings option. Select the Audio Out or Digital Out setting. Change setting to PCM.

Other devices may include Blu-Ray players, set-top boxes, etc. Settings menu selections may vary depending on your device. Select the menu setting that best resembles the ones mentioned. For AUX Connection:
Connect the TVs Stereo RCA (L/R) Audio output socket to the Soundbases AUX port with an RCA Stereo Audio Cable. For Line In Connection:
Connect the audio devices headphone socket to the Soundbases LINE IN port with the 3.5mm to 3.5mm Audio Cable. For Coaxial Connection:
Connect the TVs coaxial output port to the Soundbases coaxial port with a coaxial cable. For Bluetooth Connection The operational range between the main unit and a bluetooth device is approximately 10 meters. Please keep in mind that bluetooth is a compressed audio format, so streamed music may lose some sound quality when compared to a wired connection. 1 2 3 Once the unit is plugged in and switched to bluetooth mode, the Soundbase will automatically activate bluetooth. The LED indicator will ash green to specify that the unit is in bluetooth pairing mode. Open your bluetooth enabled audio device, then search for the Soundbase device (named BOHMB3). After syncing with the device, the LED light will ash green every few seconds to show its connected.
Try the following if your sound quality is less than optimal:
If you hear any break-up or disconnect while streaming music from your device, move device closer to the Soundbase. Be sure that there are no solid obstructions in the line-of-sight between the Soundbase and the source device. Other wireless devices can affect bluetooth range, including wireless security cameras, wireless video baby monitors, cordless phones, and microwave ovens. Turning off or moving these devices may improve bluetooth range. Soundbase as Platform TV Monitor SOURCE EQ BHM B3 Soundbase Setup TV Monitor Platform The Soundbase as a platform is ideal for 32 - 52 television monitors, and can support a maximum weight of 40 lbs (18 kg).
