Exposure to extreme temperatures can result in shortened battery life or cause the product to temporarily stop working. Battery Charging The LEAPFROG tablet is equipped with a rechargeable lithium-polymer battery. It will require about 5 hours of charging using the included AC power adapter/adaptor prior to use. The tablet may also be charged via USB connection; however, this charging method will take much longer. If the battery is charging when the device is off, a battery meter icon will light up on the dark screen. When the battery meter icon is full, the battery is fully charged. If it is charging when the device is on, the battery meter at the top of the screen will show the charging status and the charge level. Charge the device in a well-ventilated area only. While charging the device do not cover it with anything such as a blanket, pillow or your childs body. Never allow your child to sleep with or on the device while it is charging. For power or battery issues, please contact LeapFrog Consumer Support. Cleaning. Disconnect all cords before cleaning. Clean the product with a slightly damp cloth (cold water). Do not use soap, detergent or other chemicals. Never submerge the unit in water. Allow to dry thoroughly before re-use. Using connectors and ports. Never force a USB or other connector into a port on the device. If the connector does not fit into the port, double check the connector and port to ensure they match up and are positioned correctly, and make sure nothing is obstructing the port. Environmental phenomena. The LEAPFROG tablet may malfunction if subjected to radio-frequency interference. It should revert to normal operation when the interference stops. If not, it may become necessary to turn the power OFF and then back ON. Lexploitation est autorise aux deux conditions suivantes : 1. lappareil ne doit pas produire de brouillage, et 2. lutilisateur Chargement de batterie La tablette LEAPFROG est pourvue dune batterie lithium-polymre rechargeable. Elle ncessite environ 5 heures de chargement en utilisant ladaptateur dalimentation AC inclus avant lutilisation. La tablette peut aussi tre charge via une connexion USB ; toutefois, cette mthode prend beaucoup plus de temps. Si la batterie est en charge lorsque lappareil est hors tension, une icne de niveau de la batterie sallume sur lcran noir. Chargez lappareil uniquement dans un endroit bien ventil. Durant le chargement, ne couvrez pas lappareil avec une couverture, un coussin ou encore ne laissez pas votre enfant sappuyer dessus. Ne laissez jamais votre enfant dormir avec lappareil ou sur lappareil lorsquil est en charge. Nettoyage. Dbranchez tous les cbles avant le nettoyage. Nettoyez le produit avec un chiffon lgrement humide (eau froide). Nutilisez pas de savon, de dtergent ou dautres produits chimiques. Ne trempez jamais lappareil dans leau. Laissez-le scher compltement avant la rutilisation. Utilisation des connecteurs et des ports. Ne forcez jamais une cl USB ou autre connecteur dans un port de lappareil. Si le connecteur ne peut pas tre introduit dans le port, vrifiez le connecteur et le port pour sassurer quils correspondent et sont positionns correctement et que le port nest pas obstru par un objet tranger. Phnomnes environnementaux. La tablette LEAPFROG peut fonctionner de manire incorrecte si elle est soumise un brouillage de radiofrquence. Elle doit revenir un fonctionnement normal lorsque le brouillage cesse. Sinon, il peut tre ncessaire dteindre (OFF) puis de rallumer (ON) la tablette. Dans un cas improbable de dcharge lectrostatique, lappareil peut fonctionner de manire incorrecte et perdre de la mmoire; auquel cas, lutilisateur doit rinitialiser lappareil en lteignant (OFF) puis le rallumant

(ON). lectricit statique et couteurs. Dans certains environnements secs, de llectricit statique peut saccumuler dans les couteurs et causer une faible dcharge statique rapide lorsque les couteurs sont branchs sur lappareil. Pour viter cette dcharge statique, nutilisez pas lappareil dans des environnements extrmement secs ou touchez un objet mtallique non peint reli la terre pour dcharger llectricit statique avant de brancher les couteurs sur lappareil. Ne connectez pas lappareil un ordinateur ou sur une prise murale AC sil est mouill ou endommag. de lappareil doit accepter tout brouillage radiolectrique subi, mme si le brouillage est susceptible den compromettre le fonctionnement.
