Sleeping function is included for saving energy. Systems Compatibility IBM PC, Win 95/98/Me/2000/XP The Steps of Installing Battery 1. Prepare 2pcs of AAA type battery 2. Press the button on the upper cover of the mouse and remove the battery cover (Please see the reference picture) 3. Insert the batteries in the correct direction. 4. Put the battery cover back onto the mouse until you hear click sound which shows that the battery cover is locked successfully. Receiver Installation 1. If you use PS/2 connector, please use the USB- to- PS/2 adaptor and connect to the computer before you switch on your computer 2. For laptop, you can connect the receiver directly with the USB connector. 3. You can use an USB extension cable if it is necessary. Press the button to open the upper cover ID Setup 1. When the receiver connects to the computer and the batteries are put into the mouse, it will take a few seconds to search the receiver automatically. 2. You can press the code button (under the mouse) if the mouse can not find the receiver. 3. Working distance: within 60-120cm. Attention Please 1. Please use the mouse within the effective range for normal operation. 2. The batteries can work longer if using on the white surface. Please remove the batteries if the mouse will not be used for a long time. 3. Please press any key or scroll the wheel to wake up the mouse when it is in the sleeping mode. 4. The optical mouse will not work well on a smooth surface glass, reflecting surface, 3D mouse pad and etc. 5. No need to press the code button if the battery changing time is within 10 seconds. Otherwise, you need to press the button again.
