The power indicator lights up in orange while the battery is charging.
In certain situations, such as during gameplay, the PSP system will not automatically switch to USB mode when a USB cable is connected to the system.

You can connect a Mini-B (5-pin) type USB cable to the USB connector of the PSP system.
