RangeTAG GPSTM USER MANUAL RangeTAG GPS USER MANUAL RangeTAG GPS transmits its GPS coordinates to the RangeCOMPANION. With an energy efficient design and built-in solar charging, replacing batteries becomes a thing of the past. See RangeCOMPANION User Manual for more details on the interaction between RangeTAG GPS and RangeCOMPANION. 3 SOLAR PANEL RangeTAG GPS ATTACHES TO THE EAR RangeTAG GPS works with most standard male button tags. The solar panel needs to be facing away from the ear to be exposed to sunlight. TAGSMYTH recommends placing RangeTAG GPS on the back of the ear for better exposure to sunlight. ANTENNA SOLAR PANEL The solar panel is located on the front of the tag. Place solar panel in direct sunlight for a minimum of five days prior to placing on cattle. 4 5 ID NUMBER PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS RF OPERATION FREQUENCY RF OPERATION RANGE*
