After removing the battery door, plug the battery connector securely into the socket inside the battery compartment. 2. Place the battery into the battery compartment. 3. Attach the battery door until it clicks into place. Connecting power to the VCS850 1. Plug one end of the AC adapter into the power jack on the bottom of the unit. 2. Route the cord through the slots. 3. Plug the large end of the AC adapter into a wall outlet not controlled by a switch. After connecting power, the VCS850 LEDs should flash red and green, indicating the unit is ready for registration. The supplied power adapter is designed for use with only the ErisStation Conference Phone with Two Wireless Mics. It is not designed to power other network devices. Do not connect the supplied power adapter to any other network devices through the supplied DC power cable or any other Cat5e ethernet cable. The AC power cord is intended for a vertical or floor mount position. The prongs are not designed to hold the plug in place if it is plugged into a ceiling or cabinet outlet. Register the wireless speaker You must register the wireless speaker using the menus on the VCS752 SIP Conference Phone. 1. On the VCS752 SIP Conference Phone, press MENU. 2. On the Main Menu, highlight User settings and then press SELECT. 3. On the User settings menu, highlight Wireless speaker. 4. With Register highlighted, press SELECT. The screen displays Registering... and then Registration succeeded. The base plays a confirmation tone. The registered speaker LEDs stop flashing red and green. The LEDs turn green briefly and then turn off. 5. Repeat steps 1 to 4 for any additional wireless speakers. If a microphone fails to register, the base unit will display Registration failed.
