1 Installation Installation Environment:

Avoid backlight, direct sunlight, and indirect sunlight. For better recognition, there should be light source in or near the installation environment. Before you start:

According to the baseline on the mounting template, stick the mounting template on the wall or other surface, 1.45 meters higher than the ground. Note: Make sure the output of external power supply fulls LPS. Steps:

1 2 Drill holes on the wall or other surface according to the mounting template and install the gang box. Use two supplied screws (SC-KM4x25-SUS or KA422-SUS) to secure the mounting plate on the gang box. Route the cables through the cable hole of the mounting plate, and connect the terminals with the external devices' cables. Align the device with the mounting plate and hang the device on the mounting plate. Use one supplied screw to secure the device and the mounting plate. Notes:

The installation height here is the recommended height. You can change it according to your actual needs. For easy installation, drill holes on mounting surface according to the supplied mounting template. Base Mounting:

1 Route the cables through the cable hole of the bracket, and connect the terminals with external devices' cables. Align the device two holes with the two buckles on the bracket. Hang the device on the bracket and make sure the buckle in the middle of the bracket is inserted in the groove on the device back. (Sensor) 3 Activation Activate via Device Power on and wire the network cable after installation. You should activate the device before the rst login. If the device is not activated yet, it will enter the Activate Device page after powering on. Steps:

1. Create a password and conrm the password. 2. Tap Activate to activate the device. Note: For other activation methods, see the device user manual. 3. Set application mode and recognition mode by following the instructions according to your actual needs. Activate via SADP Tool 1. Download SADP Software Get the SADP software from the supplied disk. Install and run the software. 2. Activate Device Check the inactive device from the device list. Create a password in the right side of the interface and conrm the password. 3. Edit Device IP Address Check the device and manually edit the device IP address, Port No., Subnet Mask, Gateway, etc. STRONG PASSWORD RECOMMENDED We highly recommend you create a strong password of your own choosing (using a minimum of 8 characters, including upper case letters, lower case letters, numbers, and special characters) in order to increase the security of your product. And we recommend you reset your password regularly, especially in the high security system, resetting the password monthly or weekly can better protect your product. Activate via Client Software 1. Get the client software from the ocial website. Install and run the client software. 2. Enter the Device Management page. 3. Click Device tab on the top of the right panel. 4. Click Online Device to show the online device area at the bottom of the page. The searched online devices are displayed in the list. 5. Check the device status (shown on Security Level column) and select an inactive device. 6. Click Activate to open the Activation dialog. 7. Create a password in the password eld, and conrm the password. 8. Click OK to activate the device. 9. Select an activated device in Online Device area, click on the Operation column to open the Modify Network Parameter window. Change the device IP address to the same subnet with your computer if you need to add the device to the client. Use only power supplies listed in the user instructions:
