Os monitores so equipados com aberturas de ventilao no gabinete que permitem a liberao do calor gerado durante seu funcionamento. Se essas aberturas forem bloqueadas, o superaquecimento pode causar falhas que podem provocar incndio. Ento, NUNCA:
Bloqueie as aberturas de ventilao localizadas na parte inferior colocando o monitor em cima de camas, sofs, tapetes etc. Posicione o monitor em uma instalao embutida a menos que haja ventilao apropriada. Cubra as aberturas com panos ou qualquer outro tipo de material. Coloque o monitor prximo ou sobre um aquecedor ou outra fonte de calor. No esfregue ou bata a tela de LCD em nada rgido uma vez que pode arranh-lo, estrag-lo ou danific-lo permanentemente. No pressione a tela de cristal lquido com o dedo durante um longo perodo porque pode resultar em fantasmas na imagem. Cartes Cabo de Sinal D-Sub 15-pinos

(cabo de 15 pinos Dsub) com ncleos de ferrite para manter o cumprimento das normas em relao ao produto. E03 Conectando o monitor s u g u t r o P Antes de conectar o monitor, verifique se ele, o computador e outros dispositivos conectados esto desligados. Conectando a base de sustentao 1. Coloque o monitor com a parte da frente virada para baixo num pano macio. 2. Monte o corpo da base no produto na direo correta,conforme mos-
trado na figura. Certifique-se de que pressionou at ouvir clicar. 3. Monte o apoio da base no corpo da base na direo correta. Corpo da dobradia corpo da base corpo da base apoio da base 4. Na parte de trs da base, use uma moeda para apertar o parafuso no sentido horrio. 5. Depois que a base estiver montada, levante cuidadosamente o monitor com a tela para frente. E04 E04 Conectando o monitor Desmontagem da base de sustentao 1. Coloque uma almofada ou pano macio numa superfcie plana. 2. Coloque o monitor com a face para baixo sobre a almofada ou pano. 3. Remova o suporte do corpo e a base do suporte do produto na direo correta, como mostrado na imagem. 4. Use uma moeda na parte de reverso da base do suporte e gire o parafuso anti-horrio. Para Apple Macintosh, preciso adquirir um adaptador para mudar o conector D-sub VGA de 15 pinos e alta densidade (3 filas) do cabo fornecido para um conector de 15 pinos de 2 filas. Ligar o cabo do sinal de entrada e fixar o mesmo rodando no sentido da seta, como apresentado na figura. 3. Pressione o boto de ligar/desligar no painel frontal para ligar. Quando o monitor estiver ligado, a Funo Definir Auto Imagem executada automaticamente. Boto de Ligar NOTA Funo de configurao automtica da imagem: Essa funo fornece ao usurio as configuraes ideais da tela. Quando o usurio conecta o monitor pela primeira vez, essa funo ajusta automaticamente a tela de acordo com a configurao ideal para os sinais de entrada individuais. Funo AUTO': Caso se depare com problemas, como uma tela ofuscada, letras ofuscadas, tela cintilante, com inclinao enquanto utiliza o dispositivo ou depois de alterar a resoluo da tela, pressione o boto de funo AUTO para melhorar a resoluo. deve aparecer . E08 Funes do Painel de Controle 2 3 44 5 Controle Funo Boto SUPER ENERGY SAVING Use este boto para entrar menu SUPER ENERGY. Para mais informao, consulte a pgina 14 s u g u t r o P Boto AUTO AJUSTE AUTOMTICO DE IMAGEM Quando ajustar as configuraes de exibio, sempre pressione o boto AUTO antes de realizar alguma modificao na tela. E09 Ajuste do On Screen Display (OSD) Control (Controle na tela) s u g u t r o P Ajuste da tela Com o sistema On Screen Display Control, rpido e fcil fazer ajustes no tamanho da imagem, na posio e nos parmetros operacionais do monitor. Abaixo, segue um pequeno exemplo para familiariz-lo com o uso dos controles. A prxima seo apresenta um perfil dos ajustes e das selees disponveis que podem ser feitos usando o OSD. Para fazer ajustes no On Screen Display, siga estas etapas:

Las pantallas incluyen aberturas de ventilacin para permitir la expulsin del calor que generen durante el funcionamiento. En caso de bloqueo de estas aberturas, el calor acumulado puede causar fallos o incluso incendios. Por lo tanto, NUNCA:
Bloquee las ranuras de ventilacin inferiores colocando la pantalla en una cama, un sof, una alfombra, etc. Coloque la pantalla en un habitculo cerrado a menos que disponga de ventilacin adecuada. IMPORTANTE Seleccione Panel de control --> Pantalla --> Configuracin y compruebe si se ha modificado la frecuencia o la resolucin. En caso afirmativo, ajuste de nuevo la tarjeta de vdeo en la resolucin recomendada. Si no est seleccionada la resolucin recomendada (resolucin ptima), los caracteres podran aparecer borrosos y la pantalla atenuada, truncada o sesgada. Asegrese de seleccionar la resolucin recomendada. El mtodo de ajuste puede variar en funcin del equipo y el sistema operativo, y la resolucin mostrada arriba tal vez no sea compatible con las caractersticas de la tarjeta de vdeo. Si es as, pngase en contacto con el fabricante del equipo o de la tarjeta de vdeo. This message appears when the signal from the PC (video card) is out of horizontal or vertical frequency range of the display. See the 'Specifications' section of this manual and configure your display again. Do you see a "CHECK SIGNAL CABLE"

You can secure the current control settings, so that they cannot be inadvertently changed. You can unlock the OSD controls at any time by pushing the MENU button for several seconds: the message OSD UNLOCKED will appear. E63 Troubleshooting h s i l g n E Display image is incorrect Display Position is incorrect. Press the AUTO button to automatically adjust your display image to the ideal setting. On the screen background, vertical bars or stripes are visible. Any horizontal noise appearing in any image or characters are not clearly portrayed. Press the AUTO button to automatically adjust your display image to the ideal setting. Press the AUTO button to automatically adjust your display image to the ideal setting. Check Control Panel -> Display -> Settings and adjust the display to the recommended resolution or adjust the display image to the ideal setting. Set the color setting higher than 24 bits (true color). IMPORTANT Check Control Panel -> Display -> Settings and see if the frequency or the resolution were changed. If yes, readjust the video card to the recommend resolution. If the recommended resolution (optimal resolution) is not selected, letters may be blurred and the screen may be dimmed, truncated or biased. Make sure to select the recommend resolution. The setting method can differ by computer and O/S (Operation System), and resolution mentioned above may not be supported by the video card performance. In this case, please ask to the computer or the video card manufacturer. E64 Troubleshooting NOTE h s i l g n E Display image is incorrect The screen color is mono or abnormal. Check if the signal cable is properly connected and use a screwdriver to fasten if necessary. Make sure the video card is properly inserted in the slot. Set the color setting higher than 24 bits

Wird eine andere als die empfohlene Ausung ausgewhlt, kann daraus eine vernderte Bilddarstellung resultieren. Dies ist jedoch ein typisches Merkmal einer LCD-Anzeige mit fester Ausung. Bei der Anzeige eines Standbildes ber einen lngeren Zeitraum kann sich das Bild einbrennen und so den Bildschirm dauerhaft schdigen. Stellen Sie sicher, dass der Bildschirmschoner fr den Monitor aktiviert ist. Solche Schden knnen auch bei Gerten anderer Hersteller auftreten und werden nicht durch die Garantie abgedeckt. Die Front und Seiten des Bildschirms niemals mit metallischen Gegenstnden anstoen oder darauf kratzen. Ansonsten knnte der Bildschirm beschdigt werden. Halten Sie den Bildschirm beim Tragen mit beiden Hnden und achten Sie darauf, dass der Bildschirm nach vorn zeigt. Sollte das Gert herunterfallen, besteht die Gefahr von Stromschlgen oder Brnden durch ein defektes Gert. Reparaturen sollten nur von einem zugelassenen Kundendienst durchgefhrt werden. Hohe Temperaturen und Luftfeuchtigkeit sollten vermieden werden. Bei dem Monitor mit glnzender Flche sollte der Benutzer auf die Platzierung des Monitors achten, weil das Umgebungslicht und helle Flche die strenden Reexionen fhren knnen. E71 h c s t u e D Wichtige Sicherheitshinweise Reinigung Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker des Displays aus der Steckdose, bevor Sie die Bildschirmoberche subern. Verwenden Sie dazu ein feuchtes (nicht nasses) weiches Mikrofaser-Tuch. Sprhen Sie nicht mit einem Reinigungsspray direkt auf den Bildschirm, da das Spray teilweise in die Gehusenungen gelangen und Stromschlge verursachen kann. Bei zuviel Feuchtigkeit knnen Flecken entstehen. Verpackung Werfen Sie den Karton und sonstiges Verpackungsmaterial nicht weg. Sie sind die ideale Verpackung fr den Transport des Gerts. Verpacken Sie das Gert wieder in der Originalverpackung, wenn Sie es an einen anderen Ort bringen mchten.
