If any of the following items are mismatched, missing or damaged, please contact the merchant from whom you purchased the unit for immediate replacement. e Wireless-N 3G/4G Router e Power adaptor 110/220VAC e Network cable e Quick installation guide 1.External antennas: Two 5dBi antennas to wirelessly broadcast your signal throughout your home or office. 2.WAN port: This RJ45 port is where you will connect the DSL/cable modem, or Ethernet line. 3.LAN ports (1-3): Connect your laptop or desktop computers in your network to any of these RJ45 Ethernet ports. 4.WPS/Reset button: Use it to reset the router to its factory default values, and to enable the wireless setup function. 5.DC input: Connect the supplied power adapter to this jack. 6.USB modem port: This port is used to plug a 3G/4G modem. If configuring the wireless router through a wireless connection, search for the SSID of the router on your PC. By default, this is Nexxt_XXXXXX
(whereby the X represents the last six digits of the routers MAC address). There is no password configured by default. If setting up the wireless router through a wired connection, then proceed with Step 2. 5.In order to start configuring the 3G/4G parameters for your USB modem, click on the Next button, as shown in the illustration below. Hardware connection in the default configuration mode The Viking 300 is set to operate in the 3G6/4G router mode by default. 1. First, insert the DC connector of the supplied power adapter into the AC input jack located on the rear panel of the router. 2. Insert the user-supplied 83G6/4G modem into the USB port on the device. 3. Finally, plug the power adapter to a standard electrical wall socket. 2. Once connected, open your web browser (Internet Explorer preferred). Type 192.168.0.1 on the search bar and hit Enter to continue.

Click on the Wizard tab to configure the router. For the purpose of this guide, we will use the default 3G/4G router mode. This mode also features an additional Auto switch function designed to allow users to set up their wireless connection prefer-
ences for network access. This is a failsafe mode to automatically enable the cable/DSL modem connec-
tion when 3G/4G connection is not available. For a complete description and additional router mode settings, please refer to our online manual at www.nexxtsolutions.com. Quick Installation Guide 6.From the drop down menu, now select your Country and Service Provider for your 3G6/4G USB modem. When done, click on Next to set up your Wireless Security settings. Please note that you can change, if needed, the preset parameters of your USB modem. If desired, you also have the option of selecting Auto in order for the router to configure the parameters of your USB modem automatically. 8.Select on Finish to complete the setup.
