The loop for the 125 kHz RFID Reader is a coil that is soldered to the module PWB. The antenna for the 13.56 MHz RFID Reader is a coil traced on the module PWB. These antenna configuration must not be altered when the module is installed in a host product. Requirement 2.6 - RF Exposure conditions Installation instructions The module is exempt from routine evaluation to rf exposure requirements. No rf exposure warning is required for the module when installed in a host product. Requirement 2.7 Antennas The loop antennas are integral to the module board. 1) Warning: Changes or modifications to the product not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the users authority to operate this equipment. 2) This device complies with FCC Part 15 rules, subject to the following two conditions: (1) This device may not cause harmful interference and (2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation. The following warning against modification should also be included in the user documentation for the host device:
