USB Ports x 2 Connect and charge your controllers here. Power Port Insert the USB-C Cable and connect it to the USB-C Power Supply to power Duo. Pairing Button Used primarily for manual pairing of wireless controllers. Controller LEDs Indicate whether Player 1 - 4 is connected or pairing with Duo. Wired Controllers Plug any hardwired USB controller that Duo supports into a USB port and it will instantly connect to Duo. You can also use and charge any supported wireless controller as a wired USB controller by adapting it with a USB cable. Original Controllers Duo supports original controllers via the miniDIN connector. Additionally, TurboTap can be connected here for up to five player support with original controllers. Getting Started To use Duo, connect the power supply to the USB-C cable and the cable to Duo. Plug the power supply into a standard AC outlet. Duo has two USB ports which can connect and charge controllers and an original style miniDIN connector for original controllers.Duo may receive input from up to four Bluetooth controllers, two 8BitDo 2.4G controllers or two USB controllers. Up to four controllers can be connected simulatiously using any combination of these inputs. A fifth controller can be connected via the original miniDIN connection or by using an original TurboTap. When you first use Duo the system will automatically search for a wireless controller to pair with - indicated by a flashing white LED. After you pair a controller, you can activate that controller
(typically with the Start button) to turn on Duo without having to press the power button. Upgrading Duos OS and Firmware In order to Upgrade Duos OS and Firmware please visit https://www.analogue.co/support/duo to receive the most recent release. You will see an update bar on your display during the update process. If power is lost during the update, restart the update process again after power is restored. Duo is now in Pairing mode. 1. Press the pairing button on the left side of Duo or select Pair Controller from the OS menu. 2. Put your controller in pairing mode by pressing the pairing button. 3. Your controller will pair to Duo. Controller LED indicator will become solid when a controller is paired, or wired controller connected to USB port. 4. Pair additional controllers by repeating the above steps.S 8bitdo Bluetooth Controllers should be put in X-input mode. Pairing your PS4 controller: press and hold the PS button and Share button to enter pairing mode. 2.4g controllers will require new firmware to work properly with Duo and will disable compatibility with original NES, SNES, Genesis and USB controller port receivers. The firmware update can be reverted by the same method indicated to update the firmware.

+ All 8BitDo controllers must be in X INPUT mode. Refer to your 8bitdo controllers manual for instructions on how to do this. Resetting Duo Restting will erase all paired controllers from the Duo. Library and Memories will not be affected. Select and confirm Gloabal Reset from the OS menu. Manual instructions: Plug the USB-C power into Duo. Wait 4 seconds then press and hold the pairing button until the Controller LEDs begin to flash green. Release the button before the green LEDs turn off.
