PRODUCT DESCRIPTION The Apptricity Long-Range tag is intended for Asset tracking. The range of the transmitted Bluetooth signal is up to 9 miles (14.4 km) line of sight. The transmission rate can be set from a ping once per second to a ping of once per 145 hours. The Long-Range Bluetooth Tag requires one 3 Volt CR2477 Lithium battery. Batteries are customer replaceable. The lifetime of the battery is determined by the ping rate. The ping rate is set when the tag is manufactured. 2. Step #3: Remove the battery.
