r e t l i f 01 Infotainment Overview Overview of the infotainment system The infotainment system includes for example the truck's audio system and Bluetooth connectivity. In the side display you can see all the available menus and functions of the infotainment system. Some information is also shown in the instrument display. You can control the infotainment system with the steering wheel keypads, the control panel or the touchscreen on the side display. When driving, keep your attention to the road. Infotainment tasks that require your attention should be done when the truck is stationary. Some information is also shown in the instrument display. You can use the following controls to control the functions in the infotainment system:
The touchscreen on the side display The control panel The steering wheel keypads Some functions can be controlled only by the touchscreen. Usually, there are several ways to start or control a function. Communication, for example, can be started in the following ways:
Press the Communication key on the control panel. Select Communication in the secondary display. Press the Accept key on the steering wheel keypad. All ways of controlling a function are not described in this handbook. r e t l i F o N

General controls in the side display Some controls in the side display are common for several apps. The Collapsed Menu icon. Devices can be connected to the infotainment system through Bluetooth or USB. Opening MEDIA To open MEDIA, select MEDIA in the bottom bar. Adjusting the volume Use the volume control keys on the left steering wheel keypad to adjust the volume. You can also turn the knob on the control panel clockwise or counterclockwise. If you want to mute the speakers, press the Mute key on the steering wheel keypad. To unmute, press the Mute key on the steering wheel keypad again or raise the volume. Selecting a source When you open MEDIA, the last selected source will show in the display. If you want to change source, if the source that you selected last is not available or if you previously have not selected a source, open the MEDIA menu. To open the MEDIA menu, press the Menu key on the right steering wheel keypad. Select the source you want from the list. When you make a selection, the MEDIA menu closes and the selected source is shown in the display. If you want to listen from a Bluetooth device, select Bluetooth. The menu expands and all paired devices that are within reach are shown in the list. Select one of the paired devices to set it as source. Only one device can be used as source at a time. The device that is used is on the top in the list and is marked with
"Active". If you do not have any paired devices or if you want to select a Bluetooth device that is not in the list, select Add/Remove Device, see Bluetooth settings page 17. After the device has been added, return to the MEDIA menu and select the device. 5 MEDIA 1 0 t n e m n i a t o f n I Listening to radio When you select radio as source, the last selected radio station will start playing. Opens the radio menu, see Browse Radio page 7. 10 Media menu, see Selecting a source page 5 Changing station To skip to the next or previous radio station, press the Next or Previous key on the control panel. If you instead press and hold the key, you seek along the frequency band. Manual tuning If you want to manually search for a radio station, tap Manual Tuning, using the touchscreen. The Manual Tuning icon. The arrows on each side of the frequency band adjust the frequency. You can also tap the frequency band and drag it. To exit the manual tuning, tap Manual Tuning again. Stop/Play Select Stop to mute the radio. Select Play or raise the volume to unmute. Favourites To save the current radio station as a favourite, tap Favourite, using the touchscreen. The icon changes to filled and the radio station is saved in the favourites. To remove the current radio station from the favourites, tap Favourite again. The Favourite icon. Adding a preset radio station You can have up to four preset radio stations. To save the current radio station as a preset station, press and hold any of the Preset keys (1 to 4) on the control panel. A message appears in the side display when the radio station is saved and you can release the key. Any station that is already saved to the Preset key that you press, will be overwritten. r e t l i f Browse Radio To open "Browse Radio", press the Down key on the right steering wheel keypad. In this menu you can do the following:
Manage your Favourites. Search for radio stations (FM/DAB or AM). Adjust the Radio Settings. To move the highlight in the bottom bar, use the Right or Left key on the right steering wheel keypad. Favourites In Favourites you can see and select among the radio stations that you have saved as favourites. FM/DAB In FM/DAB you can see, and search among, all available FM and DAB radio stations. You can always search in the current view, using the text field on the top of the page. Select the text field and start typing. The list of radio stations is updated as you type. The radio station that is currently playing is marked with the Currently Playing icon. A radio station that is saved as X SEM_draft_2019-06-10 a preset station is marked with a number, showing which Preset key it is saved to. The Currently Playing icon. When you select a radio station in the list, the station starts playing. The available radio stations can be displayed either as a list of stations or as groups categorised by programme type. Programme type refers to the PTY code used by Radio Data System (RDS). To change how the radio stations are displayed, tap More in the top right corner, using the touchscreen. MEDIA 1 0 t n e m n i a t o f n I The More icon. When the radio stations are displayed as programme type groups, select the arrow on a group's row to see the radio programs that are in that group. AM In AM you can see, and search among, all available AM radio stations. You can always search in the current view, using the text field on the top of the page. Select the text field and start typing. The list of radio stations is updated as you type. The radio station that is currently playing is marked with the Currently Playing icon. A radio station that is saved as a preset station is marked with a number, showing which Preset key it is saved to. 7 MEDIA 1 0 t n e m n i a t o f n I The Currently Playing icon. When you select a radio station in the list, the station starts playing. Radio Settings In the Radio Settings you can change the settings for the RDS functions and for AM radio. Alternative Frequency The frequency range for FM stations is fairly limited. For this reason, many stations broadcast on alternative frequencies in different areas. When Alternative Frequency is on, the radio automatically switches to the alternative frequencies as you drive and you can listen to such a station without 8 Listening from a Bluetooth device When you select Bluetooth as source, you can listen to media from the selected device. Overview of the media player interruption. Alternative Frequency can be set to Off, Local or Regional. Tap the arrow on the row to open Alternative Frequency, and select the setting you want. Traffic Announcements When Traffic Announcements is on, traffic announcements will be played even if you listen to another source than radio. News Announcements When News Announcements is on, news announcements will be played even if you listen to another source than radio. Play/Pause Press the OK key on the right steering wheel keypad to start playing. To pause, press the OK key again. Skip or fast forward/rewind To skip to the next or previous media file, press the Next or Previous key on the control panel. To fast forward or rewind, press and hold the key. Shuffle To play the media files in random order, tap Shuffle, using the touchscreen. The Shuffle icon is black when shuffle is on, and grey when it is off. Repeat The repeat function can be toggled between the following modes:

Change which connected USB device to use as source Search for a song on a connected device. To open Browse USB, press the Down key on the right steering wheel keypad. Selecting USB device The connected USB devices are shown in the bottom bar and the device that is used as source is highlighted. Select a device to use it as source. Searching for a song You can find a song by browsing all songs or by browsing based on artist, album or genre. Select Songs to view a list of all songs. Select Artists and the artist's name to view a list of all songs by that artist. Select Albums and the album's name to view a list of all songs on that album. r e t l i F o N
r e t l i f X SEM_draft_2019-06-10 MEDIA 1 0 t n e m n i a t o f n I 11 Connecting your mobile phone COMMUNICATION works only when at least one device with a SIM card is connected to the truck by Bluetooth. If you open COMMUNICATION with no device connected, you will be asked to connect a device. You can also add a first or second device from the COMMUNICATION menu. To open the COMMUNICATION menu, press the Menu key on the right steering wheel keypad. In the menu, select Search for Devices or Paired Devices. The Bluetooth menu is opened. When you have added a device, press the Back key on the steering wheel keypad to return to COMMUNICATION. COMMUNICATION A short introduction to COMMUNICATION The COMMUNICATION icon. When at least one mobile phone or other device with a SIM card is connected to the truck by Bluetooth, you can use COMMUNICATION to, for example, make phone calls and send messages. Up to two Bluetooth devices can be connected at the same time. The infotainment system in the truck works as a handsfree for the connected devices. The audio is routed via the truck's loudspeakers and a microphone is fitted in the panel above the windscreen on the driver's side. Opening COMMUNICATION To open COMMUNICATION, press the Accept key on the right steering wheel keypad. 1 0 t n e m n i a t o f n I 12 Making a phone call A phone call can be made in different ways:
Manually enter a phone number. Call a number or contact that is in your call history. Call someone that is stored as a contact. NOTE If you have two mobile phones connected to the truck, you are prompted to select which mobile phone to use each time you make a phone call. Manually entering a phone number Start typing the number, using the keypad on the side display. A list of suggestions from your contacts is shown to the right of the keypad, and is updated as you type. The contacts can be sorted either by first name or by last name. If you want to change the sorting, tap Sorting, using the touchscreen. The Sorting icon. Tap the sorting that you want. The menu is closed automatically when you make a selection. Calling a contact If a contact has only one phone number stored, a phone call is made directly when you select the contact. An arrow on a contacts row shows that the contact has more than one phone number stored. When you select the contact, a list with all stored information for that contact is shown. To make a phone call, select the phone number that you want to use. NOTE If two mobile phones are connected, their contacts are merged into a single list. COMMUNICATION 1 0 During a phone call During a phone call you can use the keypad for dual-tone multi-frequency signalling. Select Keypad to show or hide the keypad. The Keypad icon. Ending a phone call To end a phone call, press the End/

(System Settings) and the truck's other systems (Vehicle Settings). Opening SETTINGS To open SETTINGS, select SETTINGS in the bottom bar. You can also access the Audio menu from within the media player. When in the media player, open the Media menu and select Audio Settings. Audio In the Audio menu, you can change the settings for audio. How to find the Audio settings menu Side display SETTINGS System settings Audio Volume Control In Volume Control, you can adjust the volume for different audio, for example traffic announcements, ringtone and alarm. If you want to adjust a volume, drag the corresponding slider to the desired position. Equalizer With the equalizer, you can adjust the balance between different frequency components. To adjust the strength of the frequency components, drag each slider to where you want it to be. You can also tap the desired position on each frequency component and its slider jumps there. Select "Set to zero" if you want to set all sliders to zero position. Balance/Fader The Balance/Fader setting adjusts the strength of the sound coming from each speaker. Balance controls the side-to-
side strength, Fader controls the front-to-
back strength. Drag the point of intersection to where you want it to be. Select "Set to zero" if you want to set both balance and fader to zero position. Loudness When Loudness is on, high and low frequencies are boosted when listening at low volume. X SEM_draft_2019-06-10

A Bluetooth device can be used for the following functions in the truck:
Phone calls Media audio Internet access Text messages Contact sharing To set a function to on or off, tick or untick its box. Available devices Devices that are already paired with the truck are not shown here, but can be found in the Paired devices menu.
