BH-005 Bluetooth Car Kit Users Manual I BH-005 BLUETOOTH CAR KIT Function :
1. Bluetooth v1.1 compliance 2. Output level, 0dBm, class 2 3. 10 meters working range 4. Voice dialing out function by push button on the car kit (subject to mobile phone support) 5. Noise suppression microphone with flexible tube wire to fit users requirement 6. Automatic reconnection if Bluetooth link is disrupted 7. Speaker volume is adjustable 8. Two colour LED for standby or talking indication. 9. Echo cancellation by high performance ASIC DSP. 10. Charging the BH005 unit, there 2 ways to charge the 3 AA recharable batteries either by the car cigar lighter or by the mains travel charger 11. Suitable for all Bluetooth mobile phones, Nokia, Sony/Ericsson Seimens , Motorola, Panasonic, Etc Installation 1. Open the battery door and insert 3 AA batteries.(notice the direction of the battery) 2. Slide the on/off button to the position BAT . 3. The LED will start to blink (green), and BH005 unit is ready for working. 4. Following the pairing procedures below to pair the BH005 unit with your mobile phone. 5. Put in Clip into the hole on the back of the BH005 unit 6. The BH005 unit can be now slide on to the sun visor 7. Adjust the Volume Control see note under hands free profile . 8. Adjust the Boom Microphone to the best position. For you to talk 9. Plug the Power lead into the cigar lighter socket of your car, and move the on/off switch to the CAR position, this is now using the car battery . Pairing procedure Once the BH-005 unit has been paired with the mobile phone you can leave this function switched on in your mobile phone, so when you return to your vehicle you can turn your BH005 unit on and the pairing procedure will automatically be activated Mobile PHONE WITH HEADSET PROFILE 1. Move the on/off switch of BH-005 to right position CAR or BAT according to the applied power car cigarette or 3 AA Batteries to it respectively. 2. Push and hold the push button of slide switch of BH-005 until you hear Hi-Low tones coming out from the speaker, and the LED light will be turned off. 3. Push and hold the push button of slide switch of BH-005 until you hear three tones coming out from the speaker, and the LED turns on with green & red light. 4. Then you can start the pairing procedure with your cell phone. Mobile PHONE WITH HANDSFREE PROFILE 1. Move the on/off switch of BH-005 to CAR or BAT according to the applied power cigar lighter lead or 3 AA batteries . 2. Push & hold the on/off button of the BH-005 unit until you hear Hi-Low tones from the speaker, and the LED light will go out 3. Push & hold the on/off button to turn the BH-005 unit on, until you hear three tones coming out from the speaker, and the LED turns green & red light, and then push on/off button once more and you will hear short beep from the speaker. 4. Now you can start the pairing procedure with your Mobile Phone. Note :
1. Adjust the volume of the BH005 unit to suit your hearing, but you may need to adjust your mobile phone volume, so the caller does not hear there own voice (feed back) 2. The pass code of BH-005 unit for pairing is 1234. 3. After completing pairing procedure, BH-005 unit is back to the stand-by mode and ready to use with the paired mobile phone 5. Only 1mobile phone can be used with the BH005 unit at one time VOICE DIALING FUNCTION Making sure that your mobile phone supports voice dialing function. Please record your voice dialing message into your mobile phone first. The voice dialing is simple - just press the on/off button of BH-005 unit, you will hear a beep tone now say the desired name the mobile will start dialing now A. P800 (SONY ERICSSON) 1. Press control panel 2. Press connections 3. Press Bluetooth 4. Press Add to starting searching BH-005 device 5. Press BH-005 6. Enter 1,2,3 4 for pass code, and then press Done 7. Press , Allowed to connect without confirmation, then press Done 8. Press Done to finish pairing procedure and then you can use the Car kit with your P800 mobile phone now. B. 8910 (NOKIA) 1. Select Menu 2. Select Bluetooth 3. Select Search for audio accessories to starting searching BH-005 4. Select BH-005 5. Enter 1,2,3 4 for pass code, then press OK 6. Press OK 7. Select View paired device 8. Select BH-005 , and select Options 9. Select Request conn. Authorization, and select No 10. Select Back and Exit to finish pairing procedure and then you can use the BH-005 with your 8910 phone now. Note: Please turn on the automatic answer function of Headset and hands-free of you 8910 phone, then BH-005 can answer calls automatically, otherwise you may have to push the push button on the BH-005 to answer the incoming calls. C. 3650 (NOKIA) 1. Press Menu 2. Select Connection and press Open 3. Select Bluetooth and press Open 4. Shift to left for pairing device and select new device to start searching 5. Select BH-005 6. Enter 1,2,3 4 for pass code 7. Select BH-005, and select connection 8. Select BH-005 and select authorized for connection 9. Select Back and Exit to finish the pairing procedure, and you can use the Car kit with you 3650 phone now. Note: Please turn on the automatic answer function of Headset and hands-free of your mobile phone, then BH-005 can answer calls automatically, otherwise you may have to push the push button on the BH-005 to answer the incoming calls.
