Transmitter Set Up/Operation 1. Plug the transmitter AC/DC power adaptor into an AC outlet and connect the adaptors power output plug to the back of the transmitter marked DC 9 V. 2.Connect the audio connection cable to the AUDIO IN socket with the other end of the cord connected to your audio source (e.g. stereo system, TV system etc.). You can use the provided 3,5 - 6,3 mm plug adaptor or 2-RCA phono-plug adaptor to suit the connection of your audio source. 3. The transmitter will automatically power up when there is an audio signal received from your audio source. The red LED light will illuminate to indicate the transmitter is powered ON. 4. Set the CHANNEL button to select the transmission channel as displayed by the channel indicator. 5. Ensure the antenna is extended to complete vertical to provide maximum coverage. Speaker Set Up/Operation 1. Use the provided 12V AC/DC adaptor to power each speaker. Plug the speaker AC/DC power adapter to an AC outlet and connect the adapters power output plug to the back of the speaker marked DC 12 V.
(Remark: The mass production version can be powered by 8 x AA batteries) 2. There is no ON/Off button and adjust the Volume Control on the engineering sample. It has a little hissing noise. 3. Since it has equipped with Auto tune function, you just need to change the channel switch on the transmitter for optimum signal. GB PROBLEM SHOOTING Problem: Cannot connect transmitter to TV because TV has no headphone jack or audio output jack. Solution: If your TV has no audio output jacks then it is probably not a stereo TV. In this case, connect the transmitter to the VCR (if you have a VCR connected to your TV). Problem: Poor sound quality (Distortion). Solution: 1. Distance between speaker and transmitter may be out of optimum range or transmission may be affected by interference. Select another channel on the transmitter & press the auto tune button on the speaker. 2. Battery power is insufficient. Replace the batteries. Problem: No sound or no signal at the speaker. Transmitter is not on. Solution: Transmitter has no power (power adapter not plugged into AC outlet and/or not connected to the transmitter) or the audio source has stopped sending audio signal to the transmitter. Audio source is not on or transmitters audio cord is not connected to an audio source, or audio source volume (or amplification) is too low to generate a signal. Speaker is not turned on or its volume is set too low.
