BAP-AC1750 is resetting to its default settings. Quick flashing red BAP-AC1750 is either in an uninitialized state, or cannot reach the access controller. NOTE: When power LED is off and all the other LEDs are solidly lit up, this indicates that the controller daemon (CAPWAP) crashed. Kensington security slot Insert a Kensington lock into this hole to keep your BAP-AC1750 safe. Power (DC-IN) port Insert the bundled DC adapter into this port and connect to a power source. Reset button This button resets or restores the system to its factory default settings. USB port Insert a USB device such as a USB flash drive into the port. Ethernet (LAN) port Connect a network cable into this port to establish Ethernet connection. PoE port Insert a network cable into this port to establish Ethernet connection and provide DC power input. On the ceiling tile 1. When the T-bar width is more than 24mm or has a reveal edge treatment, drill four holes on the tile. 2. Cut about 25 mm rectangular hole on the tile for the Ethernet cable feed. 3. Attach the bracket to the tile with the four bundled truss head machine screws. 4. Tighten the bracket to the tile with the four bundled jam nuts and flat washers. 5. Align and install your BAP-AC1750 into the bracket. Unmounting your BAP-AC1750 Press the notch on the bracket to unmount your BAP-AC1750. Mounting to the ceiling You can mount your BAP-AC1750 to the ceiling either on the ceiling tile rail (T-bar) or on the ceiling tile. On the T-bar rail 1. On the installed T-bar rail on the ceiling, install the bundled bracket through the T-bar holder. The AP weight is sustained by the clamp. NOTE: The bundled bracket supports the T-bar width up to 24mm. 2. Install your BAP-AC1750 into the bracket. E12038_BAP-AC1750_QSG.indd 1 Mounting your BAP-AC1750 directly to the wall 1. Drill two 6.5mm holes on the wall with a distance of 281mm betweeen them. 2. Place two 6.5mm M6 plastic anchors in the two holes. 3. Tighten two 3mm round head drywall screws into the two M6 plastic anchors in the holes. 4. Hang your BAP-AC1750 into the two screws on the wall. CAT5e network cable or better Drill and drill bit (6.5mm for wallmounting or 4mm for ceilingmounting) Optional: Drywall or keyhole saw (to cut 25mm hole for the Ethernet cable feed) Guidelines Follow these guidelines to get the maximum coverage:
Place your BAP-AC1750 in a centralized area. Do not install your BAP-AC1750 near metal objects such as heating ducts, metal doors, or electric service panels. If you are installing more than one BAP-AC1750, place them about 80 feet apart. When you install your BAP-AC1750 on a pole, the coverage is 180 degrees. NOTE: Do not mount two BAP-AC1750s back to back on a pole to achieve a 360 degrees coverage. The two BAP-AC1750 could interfere with each other. Mounting options Mounting your BAP-AC1750 to the bracket and to the wall 1. Drill four 6.5mm holes on the wall. 2. Place four 6.5mm M6 plastic anchors in the four holes. 3. Tighten the bracket to the wall with four 3mm round head drywall screws. 4. Align and install your BAP-AC1750 into the bracket. 128mm Securing your BAP-AC1750 1. Locate the Kensington security slot on your BAP-
AC1750. 2. Insert a Kensington lock into the security slot and secure it to an immovable object. Connecting the power supply You can connect either the bundled DC adapter or an 802.3at power source to your BAP-AC1750. Use only the DC adapter that came with your package or an 802.3at compliant PoE power source. Using other DC adapters may damage your BAP-AC1750. NOTES:
When both the DC adapter and PoE power source are plugged to your BAP-AC1750, the DC power is the primary source of your BAP-AC1750. When the DC power fails, your BAP-
AC1750 changes to the 802.3at PoE source. BAP-AC1750 can be powered by 802.3at compliant (25.5W) PoE switch/PoE injector or 802.3af compliant (12.95W) PoE switch/PoE injector. When your BAP-AC1750 is operated on 802.3af power, the USB port is disabled, and the TX power reduces 3dB from power by 802.3at. Environment Specifications:

WARNING!
For product available in the USA/Canada market, only channel 1~11 can be operated. Selection of other channels is not possible. Pour les produits disponibles aux tats-Unis / Canada du march, seul le canal 1 11 peuvent tre exploits. Slection d'autres canaux n'est pas possible. This device and it's antennas(s) must not be co-located or operating in conjunction with any other antenna or transmitter except in accordance with IC multi-transmitter product procedures. Cet appareil et son antenne (s) ne doit pas tre co-localiss ou fonctionnement en association avec une autre antenne ou transmetteur. Under Industry Canada regulations, this radio transmitter may only operate using an antenna of a type and maximum (or lesser) gain approved f or the transmitter by Industry Canada. To reduce potential radio interference to other users, the antenna type should be chosen so that the equivalent isotropically radiated power (e.i.r.p) is not more than that necessary for successful communication. This radio transmitter (3568A-RTGW00) has been approved by Industry Canada to operate with the antenna types listed below with the maximum permissible gain and required antenna impedance for each antenna type indicated. Antenna types not included in this list, having a gain greater than the maximum gain indicated for that type, are strictly prohibited for use with this device.
