Installation Power This set operates on a 18V DC supply provided by the AC-DC adaptor. Use only the AC-DC adaptor supplied with the set and never apply an AC mains to the set directly. The AC-DC adaptor operates on an AC mains supply, the voltage is as indicated on the label of the AC-DC adaptor. a. Connect the DC plug of the AC-DC adaptor to the 18V DC socket of the set. b. Connect the AC-DC adaptor and its power cord. c. Connect the power cord to an AC mains. In the event of thunderstorms or power cuts, please pull out the mains plug of the AC-DC adaptor and the aerial plug. Do not allow anything to rest upon or roll over the power cord, and do not place the monitor where the power cord is subject to damage. Warning To prevent fire or shock hazard, do not expose the set to rain or moisture. Do not rub or strike the Active Matrix LCD with anything hard as this may scratch, mar, or damage the Active Matrix LCD permanently.

Service Never remove the back cover of the set as this can expose you to high voltage and other hazards. If the set does not operate properly, unplug it and call your dealer. Location Position your set so that no bright or sunlight falls directly onto the screen. Care should be taken not to expose the set to any unnecessary vibration, moisture, dust or heat. Also ensure that the set is placed in a position to allow a free flow of air. Do not cover the ventilation openings on the back cover. When you install the set to use the wall mounting bracket (optional Part), fix it carefully so as not to drop. Cleaning Unplug the set before cleaning the face of the LCD screen. Dust the set by wiping the screen and the cabinet with a soft clean cloth. If the screen requires additional cleaning, use a clean, damp cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosol cleaners.

Location and function of controls All the functions can be controlled with the remote control handset. Some functions can be adjusted with the buttons on the control panel of the set. Connection panels Connection to external equipment Connection to an aerial or cable television 1. Connect the aerial or network input cable to the coaxial socket on the rear of the set. 2. Or you can connect the aerial cable to the RF aerial in socket of the VCR, and connect the RF out socket of the VCR to the aerial socket of the set. Connect the S-Video socket of the VCR to the S-Video socket of the set. 2. Connect the audio cable from the S-VIDEO VCR to the AUDIO socket of the set. 3. Select S-Video by remote control or control panel. Audio output socket Insert the headphone plug to the audio output socket of the set, you can listen the sound through the headphone. Or you can connect a sub-woofer to the socket, to adjust the volume, press the button. If you press MUTE button, the sound from headphone, TV speaker or sub-woofer are switched off. Automatic storing of channels All stations that can be received are stored by this method. It is recommended that you use auto program during installation of the set. 1. Press 2. Press button to select Confirm and press to select YES to confirm the change. 5. Repeat Steps 2 to 4, you can move all the channels to the required order. CHNO Skip menu Skip channel numbers 1. Repeatedly press the MENU button twice to enter the TV Search menu. Press to select CHNO Skip Menu. 2. Press to select Channel NO, and press the button to select the channel number you want to skip. 3. Press button to select Skip and press to select YES to confirm the skip.

TV Search Menu 4. Repeat Step 2 to 3, you can skip the unwanted channels. Manual storing of channels Manual program lets you manually tune and arrange t he stations in whatever order you desired. 1. Setting the picture Picture Setting Menu Changing the picture mode You can use your remote control to select the type of picture which best corresponds to your viewing requirements. The following picture effects are available:
BRIGHT, SOFT, STANDARD, USER. Adjusting the picture settings Your TV has several settings which allow you to control picture quality:

Image position is abnormal Do the Auto Config, or manually adjust the image position. 5. There are water wave, twinkling point, or incorrect colors on the screen Check the cable of input signal source and the quality of the

sources. 6. The volume of speaker is too small or noisy Increase the volume by adjusting the ON SCREEN MENU. Check the sound source quality. 7. No sound Check whether the sound is mute or not. 8. The TV image is not clear Check the RF antenna quality, and antenna connection to the TV. Try the manual TV search function. Generally, the image quality of cable TV is better than outdoor antenna.
