To turn off, place the RFID Key Card near the RFID Key Card Read Area and hold it there for 3 seconds. For security reasons, CabinRs Anti Theft Security System does not have an off button. 4 Arming & Disarming the Alarm Using RFID Key Card To arm the alarm, first turn on CabinRs Anti Theft Security System by pressing the black button for 2 seconds. Then swipe the RFID Key Card near the RFID Key Card Read Area. Once you hear the activation sound, it will count down from 30 seconds before arming. During this time, the Status Indicator will blink faster and faster until the alarm arms and the Status Indicator will become solid and you will hear a beep sound. To disarm the alarm, swipe the RFID Key Card near the RFID Key Card Read Area. Once you hear the deactivation sound, the alarm will be disarmed and the Status Indicator will change from solid back to blinking. 5 Setting the Backup Combination Code To set the backup Combination Code, press and hold the button until the Status Indicator turns solid red to switch to Set Combination Code mode. At this time, swipe the RFID Key Card near the RFID Key Card Read Area. You will then hear a beep. Then use the button to enter the three-digit Combination Code, one digit at a time. To enter each digit, press the button repeatedly for x number of times, followed by a pause. For example, to enter the number 3, press the button repeatedly for three times, then pause. During the pause, the Status Indicator will blink red once. This indicates that it is ready for the next digit in the Combination Code. Once all three digits are entered, swipe the RFID Key Card near the 6 RFID Key Card Read Area once again. This will complete the setup of the Combination Code. Note: The backup Combination Code lets you arm and disarm the alarm without using the RFID Key Card. This is useful when you need to arm or disarm the alarm but have misplaced the RFID Key Card. However, it is only intended to be a backup method since using the RFID Key Card is the only way to 1) set up the Combination Code and 2) fully power off the security system. 7 Arming & Disarming the Alarm Using Combination Code To arm the alarm with Combination Code, directly use the button to enter the three-digit Combination Code you have set, one digit at a time. To enter each digit, press the button repeatedly for x number of times, followed by a pause. For example, to enter the number 3, press the button repeatedly for three times, then pause. During the pause, the Status Indicator will blink red once. This indicates that it is ready for the next digit in the Combination Code. Once all three digits are entered and match the stored combination code, you will hear a beep sound to indicate that the alarm is armed. 8 To disarm the alarm, enter the three-digit Combination Code the same way as above. Note: If you made a mistake when entering of the Combination Code, simply wait 3 seconds and try again. The system will automatically go back to the first digit. 9 Security Modes Blue Security Mode: When in this mode, the Status Indicator will be blue. Normal movement of the entire bag with security blanket inside will not trigger the alarm. Only when the blanket placement is disrupted, the alarm will sound. This mode is especially useful in public transport such as airplane or bus where flight turbulence or bumpy roads will inevitably cause movement of the bag. Green Security Mode: When in this mode, the Status Indicator will be green. Even the slightest movement of the bag with the security blanket inside will immediately trigger the alarm. This mode is intended to be used 10 in stationary environments such as restaurants and useful for preventing the entire bag from being stolen. It is also useful when using the detached security blanket separately to secure loose items. 11 Auto Sleep In order to save power, CabinRs Anti Theft Security System will automatically sleep when not much movement is detected. During sleep, the Status and Battery Indicators will be turned off. However, the sensors are still active and movement above a certain threshold will wake up the entire system. Therefore even during sleep, any theft activity will cause the system to wake up and trigger the alarm. During sleep, power consumption is minimized and one full charge of the battery should last over 20 days. 12 Charging the Battery To charge the battery, simply connect the USB cable to the USB Charging Port. When charging, the Battery Indicator will be blinking green. When fully charged, the Battery Indicator will become solid green. During charging, the system will remain powered on in order to monitor the status of charging. Since power will be drawn from the USB cable instead of the battery, the anti theft functions can be used at the same time the system is charging. One full charge of the battery is designed to last over several flight trips. 13 Using the Detached Security Blanket to Secure Any Bag Besides working with CabinR bags, the Anti Theft Security Blanket can be used to secure any type of bag. No installation or modification to the bag is required. Simply arm the security blanket and place it on top of personal items inside the bag. When in Blue Security Mode, for optimal performance and to reduce the chance of false alarms, wrap the security blanket around items and place it inside the bag in such a way that normal movement of the entire bag will not disrupt the relative shape of the blanket. 14 FCC Part 15 Certification NOTE: This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC Rules.
