There are 2 remote start reservation modes ; automatic and manual, Please note that automatic and manual do not refer to the transmission type. Rather, automatic and maunaul refer to the type of remote start reservation. A) Automatic Remote Start Reservation (Default) 1) Before truning off the enigine, put the transmission into Neutral, Ensure that the parking brake (emergency brake) is engaged. Take foot off the foot brake. Turn the key to the OFF position. The engine should stil be running Exit the vehicle within 2 minutes. B) Manual Remote Start Reservation 1) Before turning off the engine, put the transmission into Neutral. Ensure that the parking Brake (emergency brake) is engaged. Take foot off the foot brake. 2) Press al button for 2 seconds, 3) Tum the key to the OFF position. The engine should still be running, 4) Exit the vehicle within 2 minutes, 5) Once the last door is closed, the engine will turn oift. 6) Lcok (atm) the systern.
