* The Powakaddy RoboKaddy compromises of a one piece machine that snaps into place in two sasy moves, an antenna, transmitter, zero tip wheel, battery and charger.

Piua Key - Press this key once and the RobokKaddy will start to move in a forward direction, keeping your finger on the key will take the RoboKaddy to maximum speed. As soan as you release your finger the RoboKaddy wil continue at that speed. Minus Key - Press this key to slow down your RoboKaddy. As soon as you release your finger the RoboKaddy wil continue at that speed. Please note that this key wil not stop the trolley, will take ft only to the slowest speed. Lett Arrow - A gentle push of this key will tun the Robokaddy left and then continue straight in the naw direction, @ prolonged push will result in a tighter tum. You may have to practice this to perfect it Right Arrow - To tum right, the procedure is exactly the same as described In left arrow" above - Ensure you practice both ways. NOTE: By stesting the machine with either the left or right keys the RoboKaddy will tum on the spot and stop as soon as you relaase the key. Thie ie ideal for *gstting out of a tight comer. Brake Keys - A single depression of either brake key will bring your RloboKaddy to a hatt in less than 1 metre. A prolonged depression (more than 1% second) will bring your trolley 9 an emergency stop. De not use the emergency stop as a matter of course as this may cause the RabeKaddy to skid. Pressing the key for more than seconds will tum off your hand set. Pressing the plus key wil turn it on again. Reverse - Reverses is achieved by stepping the trolley and then pressing the minus key. Once in reverse you can steer left and sight too. Reverse has only one preset speed. To go into fanward mode, you must first press:
tha brake key, NOTE: Heverse can only be achieved once the machine has been forward in remote mode at beast once. wowaKaDoy Your Roboladdy handset has been designed for ease of use whether you are left or right handed. Take time to practice the difference between a single touch of the key and @ prolonged push especially with left and right functions. The clip on the back of the handset makes it ideal for clipping to a pocket or belt. Don't store if in your pocket in cage you accidentally

The rate at which course correction, ie. left/right, is achieved will depend on course conditions, speed and weight of the loaded bag. * Your RoboKaddy is designed to operate within a range of 50 matres, depending on atmospheric conditions, such as damp and foggy weather and / or wet ground. Additionally overhead cables, hils and ees wil affect range. We strongly recommendad not Exceeding 50 metres while operating In remote control mode. The greater the distance between you and the Robokaddy, the greeter the chance of losing contact with it, Should this happen howaver, the RoboKaddy wil stop automatically after about 7 seconds. Interference can take many forms. Nearby high voltage power lines, celular phones ot CB radios are afi typical sources. Certain obstructions such as mounds, clusters of trees etc. wil reduce the distance of transmission. The replaceable batteries cartained in the transmitter muat be replaced periodically depending on frequency of use. Batteries in the transmitter must be replaced when the LED display on the transmitter becomes weak or starts to fall. Be very caratul to ensure the batteries are inserted correctly, Deo not use re chargeable batteries as they do net give sufficient vokage for this transmitter.

Safety Notes: The RoboKaddy is mora safely used when you select manual mode to go across bridges, narrow paths, steep slopes oF between trees, avoid directing the RoboKaddy around cars or buikdings using remote control mode and never direct the machine at people or other trollays.

Matching your transmitter to your machine Hf you should ever lose your transmitter OF you have hed the need to re code it, # wil be necessary to match it to your mactrine in ordar that they can communicate. a) On steep uphiiisiopes we recommend that you use Tnanual operation however, you may like to try alther Zigzaging up the hill or directing the trojley to a lesser gradient. b) On steep slopes down hill ensure that you keep full control of the RoboKadady with the hand set. In the most difficult of conditions it is best to hold the handle and walk it down in manual mode. How da I disengage the wheels for freewheet uee?

On each wheel depress the spring clip and pull the wheel outwards by a couple of millimetres, now release the spring clip and pull again until it clicks into place, the wheel should now freewhesl. To re-engage reverse the instructions above ensuring the roll pins enter the slots on the wheels. So once a year, at least, thoroughly inspect your cart, and if you notice any symptoms of wear, consult your focal PowakKaddy service agent. It is also advisable to have your charger checked periodically, particularly when buying a new battery. However, it is worth remembering that all cart batteries work on the same fundamental principles. Because of this, a battery bagins to age the day it is made. You cannot stop this process:
but you can prolong it's life. Conversely, Incormect treatment can cause irreversible damage. This is how you protong its life:
1. When you get your brand new battery, put it on charge for at Jeast 24 hours to activate &. 2. For the first threa outings you may find that your Roboladdy Is a little red at the end of the round, this is normal and wik be fine once the battery has reached full power, normally after three rounds. 3. Always recharge your battery as soon as possible after use but certainly within 24 hours. 4, Always keep your battery on charge between games. 5, Never leave your battery connected to the charger with the mains switched off, or during prolonged power failures, your battery may be tretrievably discharged. 6. Never play more than 18 holes without fully recharging - you will discharge the battery below its designed minimum voltage and damage it. 7. Never drop the battery or charger. Avoid the battery rolling in the boot of your car. On rare occasions manufacturing fautts do occur, they generally show up in the first couple of reonths use. Your local Powaladdy service agent has special equipment to test for this. If t is a manufacturing fault and the battery ts within warranty period, then the test wil be free and your battery replaced. if, however, no manufacturing fault is found, you may be charged for the test.
