X4i User Manual Dear customer, Thank you for purchasing the Party speaker X4i. To ensure correct operation, please read this user manual carefully. Important Safety Instructions Do not use the speaker in special cold and hot environments. Please avoid the speaker dropping or hitting with a hard object, it may cause other hardware damage. Take care when charging the speaker, excessive prolonged charging will damage the battery lifetime. Charge the speaker to full capacity when using for the first time. When battery low, the indicator light will flash and voice prompt battery low, please charge speaker in time. If does not use this speaker for long time, please charge at least once within one month, in order to prevent the lithium battery from causing and damaging because of excessive consumption. Adjust the volume to appropriate level to avoid disturbing others. Phone or tablet slot holder Operation Instructions 1. Power on/off 1) Press button for 1.5s to power on/off the speaker. The default working mode is Bluetooth mode, the speaker will prompt Bluetooth. 2) Each time the speaker powers on, it will reset to 25% volume. After 10 minutes with no connection, the X4i will automatically power off to conserve battery. 2. Bluetooth Connection 1) Turn on the speaker, the speaker will prompt Bluetooth; if in other modes, please press button to change back to Bluetooth mode. 2) Turn on the Bluetooth of your phone, search for nearby devices. BlueAnt X4i will be found on your mobile pairing list, please connect it. When connected successfully , the speaker will prompt connected. 3) Please turn on your phones music player, and speaker will be played the selected music. 4) Long press button for 3s to disconnected Bluetooth, it will enter Bluetooth pairing mode if there is no paired devices. 5) Single click button to re-connect the Bluetooth. The speaker will prompt Connected. 3. USB mode 1).Plug the USB drive into the speaker, short press button to enter USB mode, and short press button, the speaker will say USB mode, and then the speaker will play the USB music. 2).When you unplug the USB flash disk, the X4i will change back to Bluetooth mode. Note:USB music supports mp3, wav, wma, ape and flac format. 4.Aux in mode 1).Use the 3.5mm audio cable to connect the speaker and an audio source (PC, MP3/MP4, mobile phone) 2).Short press button to enter Aux in mode, and the speaker will prompt Aux in mode. 3).The speaker will play music from the audio source. The audio source needs to be used to control the music. 4).When you unplug the AUX cable, the X4i will change back to Bluetooth mode. 5.TWS function 1) Power on the first X4i speaker, press and hold button for 4s to enter TWS mode. The speaker will promptDUO MODE PAIRING. 2) Turn on the second speaker , press and hold button for 4s to enter TWS mode until the speaker say DUO MODE PAIRING. 3) Please wait for around 30s, two speakers will connect to each other. Both speakers will say DUO MODE CONNECTED. 4) Turn on the Bluetooth of your phone, please find pairing list BlueAnt X4i to connect it. The backlit button with solid white light is the primary speaker and the backlit button with sold white light is the secondary speaker. 5)To disconnect TWS mode, long press button for 4s until you hearduo mode disconnected. 6)To clear the pairing memory, long press button for 8s until the speaker says duo mode cleared. 7)In TWS mode, turn off one speaker, the other one will power off automatically. Two speakers paired before will pair again after these two speakers power on. 6.Charging function 1.When speaker with low battery capacity, the speaker will prompt battery low. Please use the supplied power cable to charge the X4i. The charge port can be found at the rear of the speaker. A full charge will take around 3 hours. The four battery indicators will light up during charging. 2.The X4i has a bulit in powerbank function
(at the top of the X4i) with an output of 5V 1A. Using this function will lower the overall play time of X4i, and the powerbank function will turn off to conserve power when X4i battery is low. Note:
1.When speaker with low battery capacity, please charge the speaker immediately. 2.Do not expose the X4i speaker to liquid while playing or charging, as doing so may be dangerous, and result in permanent damage to the speaker or charger. 3.Do not charge in a sub-zero environment, charging below zero may cause damage to the battery. 7. Led light modes There are 7 led light effects in the X4i, short press button to switch light modes. To turn off the LED lights, press and hold the for 3s. To turn the LED lights back on, simple press the button. The X4i will remember the last LED mode it was set to, the next time it powers on and go back to that LED mode. 8.Using the microphones 1) Turn on the X4i speaker, press and hold the button of wireless microphones for 1.5s to power on the microphone. For the second microphone, repeat the same process. 2) The button of microphone will flash white when its paring, and it will be solid white after the microphone connected to the speaker. 3) You can use the microphone to adjust the volume.The default microphone volume is Level 4 of 16.
*If you set either microphone to a volume of 0, then there is no sound from that microphone.
*The microphone volume resets to the default of 4, every time the microphone are power on.
*The speaker volume controls the overall output of the speaker and the microphone. If it sets to 0, then there will be no output from the microphones. 4) You can use the the echo-/+ button microphones.This echo control effects both microphones. The default echo volume is 4 level of 16, and the speaker will reset to this level each time it powers on. 5) To reset the wireless microphone, long press volume+&- button of microphone for 5s at the same time to clear microphones pairing memory, and the red, blue and green level applied to control the echo to indicator will flash alternately. Then the backlit button will flash to show the microphone goes to pairing mode.
