Page 2 Introduction The BC2500 GPS beacon is attached to vehicles, trailers, and equipment in an outdoor yard, in order to track their locations and movements. Operating instructions 1. Open the box and inspect the BC2500 GPS beacon. 2. Remove the REMOVE BEFORE USE label (and the small round magnet under it) to activate 3. the beacon. Install screws in the mounting holes on either side of the enclosure and use them to attach the beacon to a vehicle, trailer, or equipment to be tracked. If possible, mount the beacon so that the top is pointed toward the sky. 4. 5. Use the BlueCats application to monitor and configure the beacon operation. GPS beacon activation Safety Information Read and follow all instructions before using this product:
Do not use the GPS beacon if it has been damaged. Do not install in environments that exceed temperature and humidity requirements. Do not place or leave the beacon on a heat source. Do not open a beacon. It does not contain any user-serviceable parts or replaceable parts. Dispose of non-functioning beacons in accordance with local regulations. Please note that the GPS beacon contains a 3.6-volt battery (D cell). Changes or modifications not expressly approved by BlueCats could void your authorization to operate this equipment.
