Participation in your Utility Energy Management Program The SkyBox enables your commercial equipment to be informed of power grid conditions and to respond intelligently when a CTA-2045 Universal Communications Module (UCM) is installed and successfully connects to the grid. This allows your equipment to become a CTA-
2045 Smart Grid Device (SGD) to support the grid. Your utilitys energy management program may collectively optimize power use when necessary to support the power grid. The result is a more efficient and reliable system. This also helps maintain lower electricity rates.
