In this manual we describe installation procedure for Windows XP operating system. Setup Make sure you are logged on as administrator.
(If you have previous versions of CDU-685 software installed on your computer, uninstall them using Control Panel / Add or Remove Programs. During uninstall keep the modem unplugged from your computer.) Plug your C-motech CDU-685 Modem into any USB port of your computer. This will automatically launch the installation and install required drivers plus C-motech CDU-685 User program. If automatic installation is not working, please double click the Setup.exe located on the virtual "CD Drive" in modems flash memory:
Setup process may last several minutes. Follow instructions on computer screen. After installation is complete, please wait till all drivers are installed. During entire installation process do not unplug the modem from USB port of your computer. Install Shield Wizard... click 'next'
