CAT NO. 60-4366 OWNER'S MANUAL MINI TIGER TANK This Tank comes in two frequency(27MHz and 49MHz). The transmitter and tank also have a three-position channel switch. So up to six tanks can be run together by using different channel units and selecting a different position of the switch. The tank runs about five minutes per about 2minute charge on the charge stand. You can enjoy firing cannon and machine gun with sound and vibration of transmitter. You can enoy seeing the the tank recoild and lighting at firing cannon. NOTE You need these items(available at your local RadioShack store) to ower your MINI TIGER TANK One 9-volt battery for the transmitter. Six AA batteries for the charger Before You Start The tank is fastened to the charge stand with a shipping screw. You will need to loosen the screw to free the tank from the charger stand. Open the battery compartment cover on the bottom of the charging stand and loosen the shipping screw. PREPARATION INSTALLING BATTERIES CAUTIONS Use only a fresh battery of the required size and recommended type.
* If you do not plan to use the tank for a week or more, remove the battery from the transmitter. Batteries can leak chemicals that can damage electronic parts. Never leave dead or weak batteries in the transmitter.
* Dispose of batteries and the battery promptly and properly:
do not bury or burn them. ATTACHING THE TRANSMITTERS ANTENNA Thread the antenna into the transmitters antenna connector. Make sure the connection is tight. IN THE TRANSMITTER You need one 9-volt battery to power the transmitter. For the best performance and longest life, we recommend a RadioShack alkaline battery. 1. Slide the transmitters OFF/ON switch to OFF. 2. Loosen the screw on the battery compartment cover and remove the cover. 3. Put the battery in the compartment as indicated by the polarity symbols(+and-) marked inside. 1 2003/4/25 4. Replace the cover and tighten the screw. When the power indicator flashes, replace the battery. IN THE CHARGER STAND AND CHARGING THE TANK You need Six AAbatteries to power the charge stand. 1. After the installing the fresh batteries, place the tank on the charge stand so its plug fits into the jack on the tank. 2. Press the button on the charging stand so the red indicator turns on. The stand starts to charge the tanks battery. When the indicator goes off, the charging cycle is complete. Remove the tank from the stand. Do not remove the tank from the charge stand while the indicator is on. We recommend you to charge the tanks battery whether the tanks power switch is off. Do not charge the tank's battery too often. Instead, run the tank until the battery fully discharges and the tank stops. Then charge the battery. This extends the battery's ability to fully recharge. ~left to spin left CAUTIONS HELPFUL HINTS These hints can help you get the most enjoyment from your Tank. If someone uses a CB nearby, it might interfere with control of the Tank. If this happens, move the tank away from the CB You cannot operate your Tank near devices with transmitters that use the same frecuency as your tank(27MHZ/49MHZ).
* Be sure the tank is not out of the transmitters range. The range depends on the surroundings and on battery strength. Obstructions such as buildings, fences, and so on, between the transmitter and the tank, reduce the range.
* The tank has a special circuit to prolong battery life. if you keep the left control lever in one position continuously for 45 seconds, 2 2003/4/25 the transmitter automatically shuts off. If this happens, move the left control lever to another position to continue driving.
* If the tank moves slowly and you have rechange, check the wheel mechanisms for lint, thread, hair, or dust. When you are done with the tank, place it on the charging stand and put the cover. Do not hold the cover when you move it; always hold at the stands base so as not to drop it.
* Do not play with the tank in the street.
* To avoide crashes, always watch where the tank is going. Do not drive the tank in puddles, sand, mud, rain or snow. These can damage the tank. CARE
* Do not expose the tank to temperature extremes. Do not leave the tank or transmitter outside overnight. Dampness can damage them.
* Clean the tank with a damp cloth to keep it looking new. Modifying or tampering with the tank's or transmitter's internal components can cause a malfunction and might invalidate the warranty and void your FCC authorization tooperate the tank. if your tank does note work properly, take it to your local RadioShack store for assistance.
