Retain the manual for future reference. You are advised to follow the instructions carefully when operating the unit. Do not use any chemical solvents, cleaning agents or corrosive detergents to clean dirt off the surface of the screen. By doing so, you may cause irreversible damage to the surface of the TFT screen. To clean off dirt or fingerprints, we recommend using a soft, damp, lens cleaning cloth. Damage caused by unauthorized repairs or upgrades may void your warranty. When operating the display unit, avoid touching or pressing the LCD glass panel. Excessive force may cause irreparable damage to the LCD screen. Never operate your rear seat entertainment system in a way that will create a distraction from driving. Lock the LCD screen in the fully closed position when it is not in use. AV1/GAME). When AV1 is chosen as a source for one screen, that screen's menus, display, and audio output will controlled from the other screen and remote control. 2. POWER button - Press to turn the monitor on/off. 3. PLAY - Plays DVD, VCD, AUDIO CD R/RW, and CD with downloaded MP3 files. 4. STOP - Press button to stop the DVD playing. Press the POWER button on the unit or remote to turn on the monitor. Press the SOURCE button to select viewing source. Press the source buttons to select an AV source from the following 3 options:
DVD mode displays the units DVD player AV1 displays the opposite units DVD player or GAME input GAME displays the AUX input that is currently plugged in If there is no video signal input, the following will be displayed. Press the PIC MENU button to activate the On Screen Display
(OSD) menu shown on the LCD screen. Press the PIC MENU button again to select the adjustment item, press the "+" or "-" button to adjust the desired function/value. Each press of the PIC MENU button brings up an additional system menu choice. Monitor PIC MENU Functions BRIGHTNESS controls the intensity of the backlight. COLOR controls the balance of blue, yellow, and red. CONTRAST controls the black level ratio. TINT controls the intensity of blue, yellow, and red. IR POWER toggles the IR Transmitter for wireless IR Headphones On and Off. FM MODE toggles the FM modulator on and off. FM CHANNEL selects FM frequency that your source will be broadcast on. See page 11 for information on listening to the RSE system through your vehicles audio system. There are 6 frequencies that are available for users to preset from the full FM band. The RESET selection will return the unit to factory set defaults. Press or to switch FM power on or off. With the FM power on, press PIC Menu to select an FM frequency. Press or to change frequencies. RSE and the vehicles audio system NOTE Each RSE unit has its own PIC MENU and preset memory. Each unit should be set to a different broadcast frequency so that they do not broadcast to your audio system at the same time. If one of the units is in AV1 mode, the FM broadcast will be controlled by the neighboring unit. When an FM frequency has been selected, press PIC MENU to or to select a number (1-6) in which highlight SAVE No. Use to store the frequency. Once the location has been selected, press the selection. to confirm and save When this has been done, the SELECT menu will be displayed. To choose a stored frequency, press Press to confirm. Make sure you read this section completely before using the DVD section. Regional coding Both the DVD player and DVD disc are coded by region. These region-
al codes must match in order for the disc to play. If the codes do not match, the disc will not play. This DVD player will only play region 1
(North American) DVD discs. To play a DVD or VCD Press the SOURCE button on the remote control or unit until DVD is displayed. Insert DVD or VCD disc (Label Up), the disc will automatically load. Press the "PLAY" button on the remote to play selected title. NOTE The On Screen Display will show "WRONG REGION" if the disc re-

When there are stains on the disc Wipe gently with a wet cloth and then with a dry one. When a disc is brought in from a cold environment to a hot one, condensation may form on the face of the disc. Wipe the disc with a soft, smooth, dry cloth before using. CAUTION Do not write on the labeled side. Do not use detergents, phenyl, chemical solutions, dispersing solutions, anti-static electricity solutions, or any other kind of solutions to clean a disc. Do not attach labels or glue-based notes on the disk. Do not use discs with any remaining glue or a damaged, sticky labels. Do not use scratch-preventing materials or covers unless they are permitted for use in this system. Do not place or store the discs in the following environments:
- Direct sunlight
- Moist or dusty places

- The feature or action cannot be completed at this time because:
1. The disc's software restricts it. 2. The disc's software doesn't support the feature
(e.g. angles) 3. The feature is not available at the moment 4. You've requested a title or chapter number that is out of range.
- The disc right be damaged. Try another disc.
- It is normal for some distortion to appear during forward or reverse scan.
- Make sure Modulator is ON and the proper frequency has been selected.
- Some discs have sections that prohibit rapid scanning or title and chapter skip.
- If you try to skip through the warning information and credits at the beginning of a movies, you wont be able to. This part of the movie is often programmed to prohibit skipping through it.
- Due to the cooling structure built in for over-
heating protection, if the machine stops suddenly, please turn it off until it cool down and resume operation. Troubleshooting Problem Poor radio reception in the vehicle (FM modulator installed) IR sensor inoper-

- Check the condition of the vehicles radio antenna.
- Verify that the antenna is fully raised.
- Try change the FM modulators frequency from the OSD menu.
- Verify that the batteries in the remote are fresh.
- Verify that the remote sensor eye is no obstructed.
- Verify that the infrared transmitter is affixed over the sensor eye of the component to be controlled.
- Insert a disc with the label side facing up.
- Check the type of disc you put into disc tray. This DVD player only plays DVDs, audio CDs and CD with loaded MP3 files.
- Both the unit and the disc are coded by region. If the regional coded dont match, the disc cant be played. This DVD player is region Number 1.
- The disc is dirty. Clean it.
- Condensation has formed. Allow player to dry out.
- Make sure you DVD player is connected properly. Make sure all cables are securely inserted into the appropriate jacks.
- If you are using the IR headphones, make sure you turn on the IR power.
