3 First usage 3.1 Preparing for installation KT-IH0932I hardware installation requires the following components A KT-IH0932I HD STB A HDMI or AV cable A IR remote control A power adapter A network cable or WIFI stick One pair of AA batteries (The components we provide not including this) 3.2 Cable and power connection The power plug into a power outlet, For STB and TV connection, please refer to the following figure. Wired network connection Wireless network connection 3.3 Network settings The first usage of STB user need to set network, you can choose quick connection or manual connection. 3.3.1 Fast connection 1Wired connection: You just connect the network cable to the STB before switching on the box, the system can connect the internet automatically after booting 2Wireless connection 1) You can enter into the "Network settings" from the broken network key on the remote control to select tip page or pressing the
"My box" on the home page (You can also go directly through the
"Network" key of remote control), and then select "WIFI connect"
option, such as figure 1,2. Click "Done" after entering the password you set, the system will connect the network automatically.
About the wireless network password information, please see the parameter settings of router you use. Figure 4Password input page 3.3.2 Manual connection If you need to specify the IP address, manually specify the wireless network, and other specify operations, please select "Manual set up". You can enter into the "Network settings" through selecting "Manual set up" on the broken network tip page or pressing the remote control to select "My box" of the home page (You can also directly through pressing "Network" key of remote control such as figure 1, 2). key on the Figure 1: Broken network tip page Figure 2Network setting home page 1 Wired connection After entering the "Network setting home page", if you use the wired method to connect the STB and in the case of connected cable, please select "Wire network connection". Enter the next page through the key of the remote control (figure 3).

About authentication/encryption method and network password information, please see the router setting. Press page. 4.5 My box In my box, you can do some operations, such as querying system information, network settings, network detection, and other settings 4.6 Personal In personal center, you can check your recent history and play the audio, video, image in the external storage device 5 Dealing with problems This section describes common problems and solutions that may be encountered in the use of KT-IH0932I Q1All the lights of KT-IH0932I panel are not bright the box couldnt be turned on through pressing the power button. Possible Reasons KT-IH0932I power was interrupted Solution Please check whether the power line connection is good and the power switch is placed in the boot location. Q2: TV images show failure. Possible Reasons The video cable is not connected or connected error. The KT-IH0932I has been power failure or shutdown. TV is not been turned on or in the standby mode. Solution Please check the video cable and network cable connections are correct and video cable plug is good contact. About the correct connection, please see "3.2 Cable and power connection ". Please check whether the KT-IH0932I is switched. Please check whether the TV is turned on, and adjust it to the AV or HDMI video mode. Q3TV has no sound. Possible Reasons The audio line is not connected or connected incorrectly. V or KT-IH0932I is in silent mode or the volume is turned to minimum. Solution Please check the audio cable connection is correct and audio cable plug is good contact. About the correct connection, please see "3.2 Cable and power connection ". Adjust TV and KT-IH0932I to audio mode, and turn up the volume. Q4The remote control of KT-IH0932I does not operate properly. Possible Reasons Remote control is too far away or its angle is too wide. Battery is depleted. Solution Please ensure the remote control in the effective control range. Please replace the batteries. Q5Not normally enter the program menu interface. Possible Reasons Network connection is not correct. Solution Check whether the network connection is right. About the correct connection, please see "3.2 Cable and power connection ". Q6WIFI could not search out a wireless router. Possible Reasons Wireless Router uses 801.11N 5Gbit standard. Solution WIFI device does not support the 801.11N 5Gbit standard, please use the router supporting 801.11A/G/B/N standard (N only supports 2.5Gbit). Q7WIFI signal is not stable. Possible Reasons WIFI is too far away from the wireless router or blocked. Solution No shelter between wireless router and WIFI. In the unobstructed case, WIFI effective distance is 20 m. Q8WIFI signal is a full grid; But still not able to connect to the network. Possible Reasons The wireless router is wrongly connected to your modem. Your modem crashed. Solution Please check whether your modem settings are correct, if the modem crashes, restart it. Q9The picture in the set-top box freezes. Possible Reasons Network state is abnormal. The STB crashed. Solution Please check whether your network is normal, computer or other network devices take up the network bandwidth. If the player crashes, restart it. Explanations:
If you are still unable to eliminate the fault according to the above methods, or the fault you experience is not in the fault list, please call the customer service phone 1-855-482-5588. 6 Safety guidelines 1 In order to avoid the machine in any functional disorders, to prevent electric shock, fire, or casualties, please abide by the following matters;
Make sure that the native operating voltage range and voltage of the power cord is consistent with the local power, otherwise not allowed to use it.
You should firmly grasp the plug when plugging or unplugging the power cord from power outlet.
Do not insert or unplug the AC power cord with wet hands
AC power cord should be away from the heating equipment.
Do not place heavy objects on the AC power line.
Do not use any unauthorized ways to repair or reinvent the AC power cord by yourself.
If you accidentally drop or damage the unit, turn off the power and unplug the power line. 2 Placement Avoid the machine being placed at the following places.
In direct sunlight, heaters or closed car.
Dusty place
The place that may cause harm to the machine, otherwise the internal parts may be severely compromised.
At highly temperature place (above 40 degrees Celsius or 90% RH or more 3 When not in use.
