DC jack (Parent's unit) 3 - Light bulb holder INTRODUCTION The Baby Monitor system is the ideal nursery baby monitor for parent to use it to take care of their baby and the unit is incorporated a night light for soothing the baby in dark environment. Do not allow the product to be used in damp conditions or immersed in water. Do not place the product next to heat sources such as radiators and sunny window etc. Baby monitor does not contain any user serviceable parts. Do not dismantle. When the Baby Monitor is not in used for long periods of time, remove all batteries from it, otherwise the batteries may leak and cause damage to the product. BATTERY CAUTIONS Read and follow all warnings and instructions supplied by the battery manufacturer. When insert the batteries, make sure that the (+) and (-) terminals face in the correct directions. Never use batteries that shows signs of leaking or cracking. To prevent leaking or bursting, never mix batteries of different type, brand, age or charge. Used batteries should not be discarded in fire. Keep all batteries away from children. DO NOT USE RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES. BWNo ee ee HHH Parent's Unit Use a cross head screw driver to remove the battery door by rotating the screw anti-clockwise. Remove the battery door and place 4 x 'AAA' (UM4) size batteries*. Cover the battery door to battery compartment. Fasten the cross head screw by turning it clockwise to lock the door.
* (Alkaline battery is recommended) Follow the direction indicated on the battery compartment to install the batteries as shown inside the battery compartment. CAUTION: THE WAY TO HANDLE THE MONITOR The rounded loop type antenna is not using as the handle for carrying around. Diagram 2 shown the wrong way to handle the unit vs diagram 3 shown the correct way to handle the unit, please make sure not to handle the antenna when to carry it around. Fail to do this may be caused weak or no reception and reduce performance. Diagram 2 SET UP THE SYSTEM Baby's Unit The Baby's unit should be placed in a convenient place within 3 metres (10 feet) of baby. A flat surface is recommended to place the Baby's unit. The Baby's unit can be used via the mains adaptor * (DC 6V 300mA). This AC/DC adaptor is provided for maximize the use of both night light and monitor. To operate the Baby's unit via the mains adaptor * (DC 6V 300mA), just plug the adaptor into a convenient wall power socket and make sure you switch the power on if the socket has a switch. Turn the Baby's unit ON by pressing the monitor button (g) once. The LED power indicator (h) should glow on. Press the LIGHT BUTTON (f) once to turn ON the night light. Press LIGHT BUTTON (f) again to turn off the Night Light if you don't want to use the Night Light function continuously. Note: Channel switch on both Parent's unit and Baby's unit must be in the same position. i.e. If Parent's unit channel switch position is in channel 'A', then Baby's unit channel switch position MUST also in channel 'A'. Wrong channel positioning will cause malfunction of the system.

Parent's Unit To operate the Parent's unit via the mains adaptor * +(DC 6V 100mA), just plug the adaptor into a convenient wall power socket and make sure you switch the power on if the socket has a switch. Turn on the Parent's unit by turning the Volume/ on/off switch (p), the LED power indicator (k) should glow on. Make sure both channel on Baby's unit and Parent's unit are in same position as mentioned on the above paragraph. You can use the Parent's unit to watch and listen to your baby.

- Turn OFF all the function of the Baby's unit before replacing the light bulb. (If use an AC/DC adaptor, unplug the Baby's unit first)
- Remove the screw at the back of the character diffuser (b) which beside a light bulb symbol.
- Pull the character light diffuser (b) upward.
