You can connect both HDM and SDI sources, or either one After setup, open the device via the switch button on the panel. 3.2 Check the IP address You can find the IP address through LCD screen (It needs to make sure your network supports DHCP) . Press Down till you see Wired Networkinformation. IP address Wired Configure IP Address DHCP Gateway 3.3 Log in to the Web UI Open a web browser and enter the IP address you see from Chapter 3.1. Then enter the default username and password (admin/admin) to log in to the Web UI. Page 3 3.4 Select Video Source C6 Video Encoder Quick Start Guide The default video source is HDMI, you can select other source via configuration. 1) Click Encoding> Video Signal 2) Pull down the menu, you can select HDMI, SDI, A mix and B mix. 3) Then goes back to Home page, preview the real-time video of current encoding sources. Note If preview is still blue or abnormal screen, please check your source is correctly connected, video resolution formats or change the cable. 3.5 Add Stream Service Click Home on the dashboard, then Stream Serviceto add streams. Select NDI|HX in the popup dialog box. Page 4 1) Fill the name and channel name, group is optional, default group is public. 2) Click OK to save it. 3) Open Studio Monitor from NDI toolsright click to auto discover the current device name and C6 Video Encoder Quick Start Guide configured channel name. 4) Select the corresponding channel name. Studio Monitor will play the received video streams automatically. 4 RTMP Live Streaming Click Home on the dashboard, then Stream Serviceto add streams. Select RTMP/RTMPS in the popup dialog box. Page 5 C6 Video Encoder Quick Start Guide Take YouTube as an example. Firstly obtain the RTMP push URL from the platform. Login to YouTube, click "Live Video" to enter the live room, and click "Use Stream Key" for live broadcast. Then fill in the URL of live broadcast and Stream Key into the URL address of the RTMP push point, and start the streaming service. You will see the video in the live broadcast room at the same time. Note Different platforms have different ways to get the streaming address, please subject to each platform instructions. When the platform RTMP address and live broadcast code are separate, you need to add the symbol
"/" after the RTMP address. The format is: RTMP address/live broadcast code. Username and password are not a must. They are required only when the live broadcast room of the platform is configured. Most platforms can stream directly by default. Page 6 5 Firmware Update C6 Video Encoder Quick Start Guide Click Updatingto check if there is any latest firmware available to download.If yes,select the downloaded firmware and click Firmware Upgrade. After uploaded the firmware successfully, it needs to reboot the device. After clicking ok, the device will restart, please be patient. Note Please do not power off during the upgrade process, otherwise the device couldnt work. Generally, it will take 3-5 minutes to upgrade the device. If its still not completed after 5 minutes, please try refreshing webpage, if you still cant access it, please try to contact for technical support. 6 Restore Factory Settings If the device cannot work normally after modified the parameters or forgot internet IP configuration and couldnt search and find the device, please restore factory settings. Two methods for restoring factory settings:
1) Reset through LCD screen. On the State page, click enter System Settings>Down>Reset, click to confirm the restoring. 2) If you can login to web page, then via the web page, click "Settings>System settings>Restore factory settings". Login username and password will be admin. Your device will be restored to obtain a DHCP-assigned IP address by default.
