Microphone Charge Jack Channel Numbers While in Standby mode or when selecting a channel, shows current channel (1 through 22). When adjusting the volume, shows current level (1 through 8). Transmit Icon Visible when transmitting a message. Talk Button Press and hold to communicate with others. With the microphone about five (5) cm from your mouth, speak in a normal voice. Release the Talk button when you are finished talking and listen for a response. You cannot receive incoming calls while pressing the Talk button. NOTE Both radios must be tuned to the same channel to communicate. Antenna Belt Clip Battery Compartment Cover LCD Display Battery Low Icon Blinks when battery power level is low. Your microTALK radio has a unique circuit designed to extend battery life. If there are no transmissions within ten (10) seconds, the radio will automatically switch to Battery Save mode. This will not affect the radios ability to receive incoming transmissions. Receive Icon Visible when receiving a message. Channel/Volume Indicator CH is visible when in Standby mode or when selecting a channel. LE is visible when adjusting volume. Mode/Power Button Press and hold to turn the radio on or off. Press and release to enter mode function to change channels. The channel numbers will blink when that mode is selected. Use the Up/Down buttons to select a channel. Up/Down Buttons Press and release to adjust the volume. While in mode function, press and release to change channels. Maximum range may vary and is based on unobstructed line-of-sight communication under ideal conditions. Batteries and Charger Remove Belt Clip Pull Latch Up Insert Batteries Radio Charger Jack To Install or Replace Batteries:
1. Remove belt clip by releasing belt clip latch and sliding clip up. 2. Pull up on the battery door latch to remove the battery compartment cover. 3. Insert the supplied three (3) AAA rechargeable batteries (also works with non-rechargeable alkaline batteries). Position batteries according to polarity markings. 4. Replace battery compartment cover and belt clip. To Charge Batteries in Radio:
1. Check to see that the batteries have been inserted properly. See above for battery installation instructions. 2. Insert round connector of wall charger into the charge jack located at the top of the radio. The wall charger has two round connectors which enables you to charge either one or two radios at a time. 3. Plug the wall charger into electrical outlet. It normally takes 15 hours to fully recharge batteries. It is not recommended to recharge batteries more than 24 hours. Estimated operation time on a full charge is 8 hours. Use only the supplied rechargeable batteries and wall charger for recharging your Cobra microTALK radio. Non-rechargeable alkaline batteries can also be used. This tone is used only to establish voice communications. This warranty does not cover damages due to careless handling, negligence, accident, abuse or failure to follow operating instructions. Sil ny a aucune communication pendant dix (10) secondes, le poste passe automatiquement en mode dconomie des piles. Ce mode na aucune incidence sur la capacit du poste recevoir des messages. Icne de rception Visible pendant la rception dun message. Indicateur de canal/volume Lindicateur CH est visible en mode dattente ou pendant la slection dun canal. Lindicateur LE est visible pendant le rglage du volume. Bouton dinterrupteur/mode Maintenez enfonc pour allumer ou teindre le poste. Appuyez et relcher pour passer la fonction mode afin de changer de canal. Lorsque ce mode est slectionn, les chiffres du canal clignotent. Utilisez les boutons vers le haut/bas pour slectionner un canal. Boutons vers le haut/bas Appuyez et relchez pour rgler le volume. Sous les fonctions des modes, appuyez et relchez pour changer les canaux ou les codes de confidentialit. Prise de chargement de la radio Retirez la pince de ceinture Cliquet de verrouillage relever Insrez les piles Prise de chargeur de la radio Pour installer ou remplacer des piles :
1. Retirez la pince de ceinture en relchant son cliquet et en glissant la pince vers le haut. 2. Tirez le loquet vers le haut pour enlever le couvercle du compartiment piles. 3. Insrez les trois piles rechargeables AAA fournies avec lappareil (ce dernier fonctionne aussi aux piles alcalines non rechargeables). Placez les piles conformment aux marqueurs de polarit. 4. Replacez le couvercle et la pince de ceinture. Pour charger les piles de la radio :
1. Vrifiez que les piles sont correctement insres. Consultez les instructions dinstallation des piles ci-dessus. 2. Insrez le connecteur rond du chargeur mural dans la prise de chargement qui se trouve sur le dessus de la radio. Le chargeur mural possde deux connecteurs ronds qui vous permettent de charger une radio ou les deux radios en mme temps. 3. Branchez le chargeur mural dans la prise lectrique. Le rechargement des piles prend en gnral 15 heures. Il nest pas recommand de recharger les piles pendant plus de 24 heures. Le temps dopration estim pour un chargement complet est de 8 heures. Utilisez seulement les piles rechargeables fournies et le chargeur mural pour recharger la radio Cobra microTALK. Des piles alcalines non rechargeables peuvent galement tre utilises.
