Select a desired DW channel. Press and release the DW/Scan button to start DW scan between selected channel and channel 16. During Dual watch scan mode:

PTT key, exit Dual Watch scan and enter TX mode on selected DW channel from standby mode. Backlight Lock, operates backlight or key pad lock accordingly. Channel UP/Down, does nothing during DW scan. DW/Scan key, Press and release DW/Scan key to exit DW scan and return to standby mode on selected DW channel. MEM/ESC key, exit DW scan mode and return to standby mode on selected DW Channel. Setup/Enter key, exit DW scan mode and return to standby mode on selected DW Channel.
