Auto Installation If the installation does not work automatically, install the driver manually First, turn the computer and the monitor on and insert the installation disk into the floppy disk drive. Double click on "install.exe" and follow the steps below. 1 Choose a model and click "OK"

4 If the screen performs normally after appearing the monitor optimization mode, click "Yes"
Otherwise, click "No"
If you do not want the monitor optimization function, click "Cancel"

Manual Installation IF YOU HAVE WINDOWS NT..
Click "Start" button.
Select "Settings" tab and then click "Control Panel".
Double click "Display" icon.
Click "Settings" bar.
Click "All display modes".
Select a mode (resolution, colors, vertical frequency).
Click "OK".
Click "Test"
If the screen performs normally, click "Yes". Otherwise, select other mode (lower resolution, colors and vertical frequency).
Note: If "All display modes" does not exist on your Widows NT, refer to Standard Signal Modes in this manual and select a resolution and vertical frequency. IF YOU HAVE LINUX.. To command X-Window, you have to create a system file that called XF86Config file. You can set your monitor with the file. If you command XF86Config, the file can be created.
Command XF86Config and then press enter key when the first and second screen appear.
In the third screen, you can find mouse settings.
Select your mouse.
Next, Keyboard setting screen appears.
Select your keyboard.
Monitor setting screen appears.
First, you have to set the horizontal frequency. Refer to Horizontal Frequency in this manual and select one of them. (You can input the frequency directly as well).
You have to set the vertical frequency. Refer to Vertical Frequency in this manual and select one of them. (You can input the frequency directly as well)
Enter the model name of your monitor. Monitor information you entered here is not directly related to commanding X-Window.
Monitor setting has been completed.
Complete other hardware settings and command X-Window. INSTALLATION e g a p 8 FRONT PANEL If you perform auto adjustment in advance of manual adjustment when you install the monitor, the screen appears more stable.
Basic functions of the buttons Power Turns ON/OFF the monitor. Menu Opens the main OSD menu and selects the highlighted function. Exit Sets the adjustment or exits from menus and sub-menus. Right Moves the selector right on the OSD or increases the values of the selected function. Left Moves the selector left on the OSD or decreases the values of the selected function. Up
Increases Sound. Down Decreases Sound. ADJUSTMENT e g a p 9 EASY ADJUSTMENT(Hot key) Each button has an additional function and if you press two buttons simultaneously, you can easily adjust the screen. You can adjust the following functions without OSD menu. SC-M-1514 1 Exit : if you press the button once, displays the recent setting values and if you press and hold the button, performs the factory reset. 2 RIGHT / LEFT : adjusts brightness. 3 UP / DOWN : adjusts volume. 4 Exit + Menu buttons : test screen appears and you can test the screen. 5 Exit + Left buttons : displays the software version. e g a p 0 1 ADJUSTMENT OSD MENU To exit from OSD menu, press ( ) button once or twice. Display Power Manager Signaling (DPMS) Power management circuit signaled by the computer system, will reduce power consumption when the computer system is not in use. The power management feature requires that the video card of the computer should support DPMS function.

You only need to connect the signal cable of old CRT monitor. etc. e g a p 3 1 TROUBLESHOOTING High voltage flows inside of this product and may create a danger of electric shock. Never disassemble or open the monitor. If doing so, you cannot get any warranty, repair and substitution. When the following troubles are occurred, follow the troubleshooting in this manual. -Make sure the power cord is properly connected or contact the service center.
"Check Signal Cable" message
-Make sure that the signal cable is firmly connected to the monitor or video sources. Make sure the power is on.
"Out of Range" message
-The message will appear when the signal of the video card exceeds the maximum resolution and maximum frequency. Set the maximum resolution and frequency suitable for the monitor. The image is too light. The image is too dark.
-Adjust the brightness and contrast on the OSD. Horizontal bars appear to flicker, jitter or shimmer on the image e g a p 4 1
-Adjust the frequency and perform AUTO menu on the OSD. etc. Display image is not centered.
-Perform AUTO menu on the OSD or adjust the horizontal and vertical position. Image is not stable and appears to vibrate.
-Check the display resolution and frequency from the computer or video board is an available mode for your monitor. Refer to resolution information on the menu and Standard Signal Modes and retry the settings. (Refer to 18page) Display image is too small or too large. In case of VGA or SVGA mode, display image may be too small or too large.
- Change the resolution into 1024*768 using setting menu on the display properties. If you want to change the frequency,
-Frequency should be changed from the video card. Some video cards may not support that function. Please upgrade the driver version and change the frequency. (For specific information, refer to user's manual of computer or video card.) If you want to change the resolution,
