1. Plug the Main Unit into the Charger Base. 2. Plug the Universal Charger or the Car Charger into the Charger Base. 3. Plug the Universal Charger into a household outlet. If using the Car Charger, plug the Car Charger into the car outlet. Note: The LED on both Universal or Car Charger and the Charger Base will turn red. This indicates charging status. The device's battery life will be extended if the device is completely discharged once every two months. Re-charging the Freedom Flow II:
1. Disconnect the device from the leg bag. 2. Follow Charging Instructions above. 6 Congratulations!
You have just purchased the ultimate leg bag emptier the Freedom Flow II device. Operation The Freedom Flow II pinch mechanism opens and closes slowly. When holding the Freedom Flow II switch On allow 3-4 seconds for the pinch mechanism to open. After releasing the switch allow 3-4 seconds for the clamp mechanism to close. The clamp only opens slightly, which is sufficient for rapid emptying. THIS IS THE NORMAL OPERATION OF FREEDOM FLOW II. We suggest you to first install Freedom Flow II on a new bag filled with tap water and observe Freedom Flow II work over a sink to familiarize yourself with its operation. Freedom Flow II operates by sliding onto your leg bag latex tubing and pinching the tube closed. When activated, Freedom Flow II will open and allow the urine to drain. When deactivated, it will re-pinch the tube. Freedom Flow II uses innovative technology that makes our safe and reliable design possible. 3 3 Instructions STEP 1 Fully charge the device prior to installation.
(see charging instructions for details) STEP 2 Open the Pincher. Hold the Main Unit in your left hand as shown in Fig. 1. Depress and hold the manual button with your right thumb, opening the pincher. Fig. 1 STEP 3 Insert the latex tubing. Slide the latex tube in the opening above the pincher using your right hand. This is easier to do if the tubing is first cut at an angle or slightly lubricated with water or cooking oil. STEP 4 Pull the rubber tubing through the Main Unit to the desired length. Continue to depress and hold the manual button while using your right hand to pull the tubing. The tubing should be cut long enough to extend a little below the heel of the shoe. Note: Make sure that the rubber tubing is untwisted and centered with respect to the pincher. 4 STEP 5 Release the manual button. Releasing the manual button lowers the pincher, thus pinching the tubing closed. STEP 6 Press the top end of the tubing into the guide. STEP 7 Begin using your Freedom Flow II. The leg bag can now be emptied by pressing and holding the wireless switch button until drainage is complete. Fig. 2 WARNINGS:
