Max Output: Within Class 1 AEL Laser Wavelength: 940nm V1-001-A 1 2 3 Normal Use Charging the Battery Troubleshooting Guide Regulatory 1) Turn SMAT ON If SMAT is OFF, press and the hold the Power-and-Reset button until the Green Light illuminates 1) When the battery becomes critically low the LED Battery Indicator will begin to flash. 2) Plug the USB cable into the charging port and connect to a power source. 2) To ensure SMAT is ON and functioning, 3) The LED Battery Indicator will be illuminated momentarily block one of the sensors with your hand or an object and check for the following indications:
Red LED Status Indicator illuminates Audible siren warning tone 3) Gently slide the SMAT onto your hat visor using the attachment clips. 4) Adjust the tilt of the sensor platform to ensure proper sensor coverage around your face. 5) SMAT will alert you if you attempt to touch your face under most circumstances while the battery is charging. 4) The LED Battery Indicator will turn off when the battery is fully charged. Care and Maintenance 1) Keep the sensors clean 2) Do not force the attachment clips into position 3) Do not expose SMAT to extreme heat or cold 4) Do not disassemble or try to repair the SMAT device, accessories or components. Doing so may damage them. The following steps will correct most issues that may be encountered while using SMAT:
Adjust the tilt of the sensor platform to ensure proper sensor coverage Ensure the sensors are clean and clear of smudges, dust, or other obstructions. Adjust the positioning of your hat to ensure the sensors are not detecting your chest or shoulders Reset the devicePress and hold the Power-and-Reset Button for greater than 6 seconds.
