: BLUE Pairing 1 Pairing / Secure Simple Pairing Pairing is the process of registering your headset to your phone. Before using your headset for the first time, you must pair it with your Bluetooth phone. Normally you need to pair your headset with your phone only once. The first time you turn your headset on, your headset automatically enters pairing mode for 5 minutes. Otherwise, you have to have your headset to be entered pairing mode manually by simultaneously pressing and holding the power/MFN button and the volume up buttons for 1 second. Once paired successfully, your headset stays on for instant use. To pair your headset for the first time :
1. Turn on the Bluetooth feature on your mobile phone.
*See your phones user guide for more information 2. Press and hold the Power/MFN button to turn on your headset for about 3 seconds. The LED indicator flashes red/blue to show that the headset is on and in pairing mode. 3. Use the command on your phone to locate your headset. 4. When prompted for the passkey, enter 0000. If your phone supports Secure Simple Pairing, registering and connecting process will be automatically performed without entering the passkey. When pairing is successful, the red/blue indicator on your headset turns off. Your headset is now connected and ready to use. Pairing 2 Proximity Pairing (Rssi Pairing) Proximity pairing allows the headset to find the bluetooth mobile phone that is physically closest it and pair with it. The headset initiates the pairing activity and the user simply has to accept the incoming pairing invitation on the bluetooth mobile phone. To initiate the pairing by using the headset buttons, simultaneously press and hold the Power/MFN button and the Volume Down button for 1 second. If the bluetooth mobile phone doesnt support Secure Simple Pairing, you can see the pop-up menu for the passkey(0000) on the bluetooth mobile phones display window.

When you end the call, the music resumes. Press the Power/MFN button for 3 seconds. Press the Volume up button for 5 seconds when the headset is not in the music streaming state. Press the Volume down button for 5 seconds when the headset is not in the music streaming state. If your phone and your wireless service provider both support hands-free operation, you can use the following features :

If you want to use only one mobile phone, youd better disable multipoint function to save the battery power. To enable/disable multipoint function, you can use the sequence of button presses. There is no limit to time between button presses. Also you can see both red and blue leds flash 3 times simultaneously. Enable Multipoint :

When the headset is turned off, press the Power/MFN button and the Volume Down button for 3 seconds until both red/blue leds are lighted on. 2. Connect the power adapter to the hedset for about 5 seconds.

Reconnection Use the Extension Earphone Headset controls CBSH100 CBSH100 CBSH100 CBSH100 Link Loss If you strayed out of the maximum allowed distance(about 30 ft.), an abnormal disconnection(link loss) can be occurred temporarily. 1. You can reconnect to your mobile phone automatically if you return back to within the maximum allowed distance within 1 minute. 2.Otherwise, the headset will be stayed in unconnected state and powered off automatically in 10 minutes. You can use the extension earphone to listen to music in stereo. 1. Insert the ear loop tab on the Extension earphone into the mini usb port on the left side of the headset. 2. After powering the headset on, press and hold the volume up button for 5 seconds to enable stereo mode.
* To disable stereo mode, press and hold the volume down button for 5 seconds Power OFF Power ON 1. As soon as the headset is powered on, it will automatically be reconnected the last paired device if the last paired device(your mobile phone) is ready for the reconnection. 2. If the last paired device is not ready for the reconnection, automatic reconnection to the headset can be failed. In this case, to reconnect the headset to your mobile phone, make the connection in the Bluetooth menu of your mobile phone.
