Keep your old USB mouse as a back-up device. Getting Started Congratulations on your purchase of LASER 5+1 button mouse. LASER mouse is the last technique of mouse industry. The most important feature for LASER mouse is that can work on most of shining surface and glass. In additional, its high resolution, 1,600 hardware dpi, provides users a great experience to operate. CD-ROM Driver for Windows OS NoteIf any part is missing, please contact your dealer for a replacement immediately Hardware Installation Guide Step 1. Plug the USB receiver to Computer 1. USB is designed as a PnP device; you can plug the device no matter the computer is on or off. Of course, you can remove USB device in the same way. 2. If the device is HD or pen drive or any device which can store files, stop the device than remove is the best way to protect the files. 3. The suggestion is turn on the computer, than plug it. Page 1 of 8 1.1 Edition Step 2. Waiting for new device detection 1. If your system is Windows ME/ 2000/ XP, windows will find a new device and install standard driver automatically. 2. The standard software only support standard functions and will not support special one of the mouse. Step 3. Insert the AAA battery 1. Turn the mouse up side down. 2. Remove the battery room door. 3. Put 2 AAA batteries in the correct direction. 4. Put the battery room door back. Step 4. Synchronize the RF Mouse If the mouse is in sleep mode click the mouse button once to wake it up. 1. Bring the mouse within 1 ft range from the receiver, Hold the mouse upside-down and use a pointed object, such as a pen tip, to click the CONNECT button once. Do Not depress the CONNECT button longer then 1.5 seconds. (The red sensor light will go off when the CONNECT button is pressed down.) Note: Please poke the Mouse Connect button first, and then click the receivers button 2. Click the receivers connect button once (located on the back of the receiver) within 5 seconds of clicking the connect button on the mouse. The LED will start blinking, when the connection is established. 3. Move the mouse around to test if it was successful. 4. If the synchronization is not successful for some reason please (1) Remove the batteries and unplug the receivers (2) Wait for 20 sec then to try the step 1 to 4 again. Note: * During normal use, please make sure that the mouse is no more than 3 ft away from the receiver in order to have reliable connection.
** The LED on the receiver will light up or blink while the mouse is being used. Step 5. Charging Batteries by Mouse 1. Put 2 AAA rechargeable batteries in the battery room. 2. Plug the UBS charging cable into USB port & mouse Software Installation & Operation Guide Note: Before installing this driver, existing mouse driver has to be removed. To install the software, please follow the steps below to finish:

After installed the driver, a symbol will show in the right hand side of working bar.
The Office-Wheel Function is attached on the mouse software. Users can change the default function of wheel and extra hot-keys.

Please note that USB port needs driver to active in Windows 95/ 98/ NT, or the USB mice will not working.
Make sure the mouse cable is plugged into the correct port-USB. An USB mouse connects only to a USB port.

You may have other system devices (e.g. a modem card) that conflict with the mouse. Check the IRQ/address settings of these devices for conflicts, and change the setting as required. Refer to your computer documentation to make these changes. Determine whether the problem is mouse or system related, try the mouse on a second system or a different mouse on your current system. Note: If mouse is not be detected and you installed driver already, a symbol will be showed in the right hand side of working bar.
