3 Operating the Race Car Step 1: When you are ready to operate your radio-controlled race car, remove the vehicle from the charger and switch the controller to the ON position. The light indicates unit is ON. Step 2: To move the race car straight or to drive in reverse, use the left controller button. Press up to move race car forward; press down to move in reverse. Release button to stop the race car. Step 3: To steer the race car left or right, use the right controller button. Press left to turn left; press right to turn right. Release button to drive straight. Step 4: While operating in forward or reverse, the race car, on occasion, might sway to the left or right. By adjusting the directional guide on the race cars underside, steering direction can be corrected. During normal operation, this action may need to be repeated several times. Step 5: Turn off the controller by moving the switch to the OFF position. To conserve battery power, ensure that the light indicator is OFF. Step 2: Press the front portion to the display until the vehicle is secure. Race car should snap in place to unit. A light will signal charging is in progress.
