Maximum power consumption is 5W. 2. Electrical/Power 3. PoE/LAN Connection The device is powered by the PoE connector. Network configuration should be provided by the DHCP server. If the device does not get an IP address assigned from the local network, then a message is displayed on the screen alerting the user that there is no connection to the server. This is the only working mode of the unit. 3 4. Device operation If the device network is configured properly, the unit should connect to the host server and display some images in a loop. When a RFID tag, ICODE or Mifare, is presented in front of the LCD, the device should generate acoustic feedback

(a beep) and display images supplied by the server as a response. The device operates as a terminal to display messages to the user sent over the Ethernet LAN connection from the server. The device sends RFID tag information read by it to the server using the LAN connection and writes information to the user RFID tag sent by the server over the LAN connection. This device complies with part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions:

(1) This device may not cause harmful interference, and

(2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation. FCC 15.105(b) - Information to the user/installer This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures:

Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna. Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver. Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected. Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help. FCC Part 15.21 - Information to the user/installer Any changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user's authority to operate the equipment. 4

Labelling The product after mounting components shall be delivered with an Identification Label which contains following information:

The name Action Cam User Interface RFID Unit in the first line. The FCC ID in the second line. The Eccel part number The Serial Number in the fourth line. The manufacturing date in the fifth line formatted as YYYY/MM/DD. The Serial Number shall be formatted as a six-digit number starting from 000001. The Identification Label shall be 30 mm wide and 26 mm high placed in the back side of the cover. This label is shown in figure 2 below. In addition to the product label, the following statement shall appear on the device itself. The position of this second label is denoted using darker grey outline on figure 3:

Theory of Operation/Technical Description - A brief description of the circuit functions of the device along with a statement describing how the device operates; to include a description of the ground system and antenna, if any, used with the device. The device combines the technologies listed below to provide functionality requested by our customer, Action Cam Ltd. This device is not for general sale, it is specifically for this one customer.

- The RFID circuit scans tags presented to the device these use 13.56Mhz NFC standards, mainly ICODE-SLi or Mifare Classic

- The device uses a PoE + LAN circuit to power it and provide network communication with the host server.

- 7 LCD screen to present data to the user

- Option to take digital inputs from external button switches. When the device boots up, it attempts to connect to the host server. When the connection is established, the device is managed by the server. The basic logic is to display some data on the LCD and send RFID tag UIDs (serial numbers) to the server. The server can react to these tags and request to display something on the screen as an answer to the UID scan. Eccel Technology Ltd has made the LCD bezel grounding required and carried out in the approval tests to ensure that the unit meets the FCC emissions levels required and achieved in the tests carried out by RN Electronics. The antenna used is a simple PCB track antenna with no amplification. It is connected directly to the antenna pins on the NXP semiconductor PN5180 integrated circuit. 1
