Use only fresh batteries of the required size and recommended type. Do not mix old and new batteries, different types of batteries (standard, alkaline, or rechargeable), or rechargeable batteries of different capacities. Never leave dead or weak batteries in the Schoo! Bus or the transmitter. Dispose of batteries promptly and properly; do not bury or burn them. If you do not plan to use the School Bus for several days, remove the batt Installing the School Bus's Batteries You need four AA batteries (not supplied) to power your School Bus. Bus to OFF, 2, Use a coin to twist the slot on the battery compartment cover, then lift the cover to open it Caution: The battery compartment cover is hinged. Installing the Transmitter's Battery The transmitter requires one 9V battery (not supplied), We recommend RadioShack alkaline battery. 1. The School Bus's transmitter has two control buttons. Press and hold down the forward button to move forward with music, headlight & flashing emergency light. 4. Running your School Bus continuously for long periods generates high heat levels, leat causes wear and tear on the motor, To help keep heat levels down, when your School Bus's batteries run down, let the Schoo! Bus cool at least 10 minutes before install I the School Bus's motor runs but the School Bus does not respond to the transmitter, move the transmitter closer to the Schoo! Bus and try again. Ifsomeone uses a CB nearby, it might interfere with control of the Schoo! Bus. If this happens, move the School Bus away from the CB. You cannot operate your Schoo!
