UseanEthernetcabletoconnectthe networkcamerasLANporttoa router/switch/accesspointsLANport, asshownbelow. 2. Connectthepoweradaptertothe networkcameraspowerportandtoa powersupply,asshownbelow. 3. Waitamomentforthecameratopoweron.Thecameraisreadywhen thegreenLEDonthebackofthecameradisplaysonorflashing.Please refertoIII.CameraSetuptosetupyournetworkcamera. 5 III. CameraSetup Yournetworkcameracanbeupandrunninginjustafewminutes.First, pleasefollowtheinstructionsbelowinIII1.Installing&UsingEdiViewFinder toinstalltheincludedEdiViewfindersoftwareandconnectyourcamerato yourwirelessnetwork. OryoucanfollowIII2.WPSasanalternativemethodtoconnectyour networkcameratoyourwirelessnetwork. Then,youcanusethewebbasedmanagementinterfacetowatchalive streamandfurtherconfigurethecameraifyouneed(seeIII3.). Additionaly,youcanviewthecamerasliveimageusingeitherthecloudID

Installing&UsingEdiViewFinder Ensureyourcomputerisconnectedtothesamerouterasthe networkcamera.ItisrecommendedtouseadynamicIPaddress foryourcomputer.StaticIPuserspleaserefertotheusermanual ifyouencounterdifficulties. 1. InserttheincludedCDintoyourCDROMdriveandifthesetuputilitydoes notautomaticallyopen,pleaselocateandopentheAutorun.exefilein theAutorunfolder. MacOSutilityisincludedontheCDROM.Macusersplease locatethesetuputilityusingFinder. 2. ClickSetupUtilitytoinstalltheEdiViewFindersoftwareutility. 6 3. ClickNextandfollowtheonscreeninstructionstoinstalltheEdiView Findersoftwareutility. 4. Wheninstallationiscomplete,selectLaunchEdiViewFinderUtility beforeclickingFinish.OrdoubleclicktheEdiViewFinderUtilityiconon yourdesktoptolaunchEdiViewFinder. 5. EdiViewFinderwilllistallcamerasonyourlocalnetwork,alongwitheach camerasname,model,IPaddressandMACaddress. Clickthesearchicontorefreshthelistifyourcameraisnot displayed. 7 ThenetworkcamerasIPaddressisdisplayedonthisscreen.After setup,youcanenterthisIPaddressintotheURLbarofaweb browseronthesamelocalnetworktoaccessyournetwork cameraswebbasedconfigurationinterface. 6. DoubleclickyourcameraandthenchooseYesorNoifyouwishtoset upawirelessconnection.IfyouchooseNopleasegotostep10. TheIC5006IWTisawirelesscamera,pleasechooseYestoset upyourwirelessconnection. 8 7. Selectyourwirelessnetworkfromthelistandenterthecorrectpassword inthePasswordfield,beforeclickingOK.Thisisthewirelessnetwork whichyourcamerawillconnectto. 8. UnplugtheEthernetcablefromyournetworkcameraandclickNext. Pleasewaitamomentforthecameratodetecttheconnection. 9 9. Whentheconnectionisdetectedasshownbelow,pleaseclickNext. 10. Enteranameandpasswordforyourcamera..ClickOKtocontinue. 10 WPS(WiFiProtectedSetup) III2. TheWPSbuttonisaquickandeasymethodtoestablishasecurewireless connectionbetweenyournetworkcameraandyourwirelessrouter/access point. 1. PressandholdtheWPSbuttononyourwirelessrouter/accesspointfor thecorrectlengthoftimetoactivateitsWPS. Pleasechecktheinstructionsforyour wirelessrouter/accesspointforhowlong youneedtoholddownitsWPSbuttonto activateWPS. 2. Withintwominutes,presstheWPS/Resetbuttononthenetworkcamera for25secondstoactivateWPS.TheorangeLEDwillflashslowlyto indicatethatWPSisactive. TakecarenottoholdtheWPSbutton toolongandresetyournetwork camera(seeI5.) 3. Thedeviceswillestablishaconnection.ThegreenLEDwilldisplayonor flashingtoindicateasuccessfulconnection. 11 WebBasedManagementInterface III3. Whenyouareusingthesamelocalnetworkasyourcamera,youcanusethe webbasedmanagementinterfacetovieworconfigurethecamera. Ifyouarenotonthesamelocalnetworkasyournetworkcamera
(e.g.ifyouareawayfromyourhome),pleaserefertochaptersIII 4.orIII5.instead. Toaccessthewebbasedmanagementinterface,pleasefollowthe instructionsbelow. 1. EnterthenetworkcamerasIPaddressintotheURLbarofawebbrowser. ThecamerasIPaddresscanbefoundbyopeningEdiViewfinder,as displayedbelow:

Ifanyothersecuritywarnings/promptsappear,pleaseselect RunorAlloworsimilar,dependingonyourbrowser. 3. Entertheusernameandpasswordforyournetworkcamera(default username:admindefaultpassword:1234).Thenetworkcamerasweb basedmanagementinterfacewillthenbedisplayedinyourbrowser.Please refertotheusermanualformoreguidance. 13 14 Federal Communication Commission Interference Statement This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules.
