There is no tool needed. Make sure there is no object in the way that may lower the quality of transmission 2 2 Smart Phone App Download the app Gidbo on Google Play or Apple Store 3 2.1 Create an account Create an account the first time you use the app: click new user? and enter you a username, email and password. Your username and email needs to be valid and different from any other users 4 2.2 Login If you already created an account go to the login screen and enter your username or email and you password 5 2.3 Navigation Menu When you are logged in, main functions can be accessed from a side menu 6 2.4 My Homes Click My Homes in the side menu to access the list of your homes. When you first log in, a Default Home is created. You can select a home by clicking on it. The selected home will show in the side menu. 7 2.4.1 Create a new Home Click Add new Home at the bottom of the My Homes screen. Enter the name of the home and the address. Get as detailed as possible for the address - street number and name, zip code, city, country. This information are used to precisely locate you home. Click Confirm when done 8 2.4.2 Edit Home From My Homes screen, click the home you want to edit. It will take you the the selected home screen. The name of the home appears on the top of the screen. In the top right corner, click the setting icon. You will then be able to change the name or address of the home and add eventual guest. 9 2.4.3 Share a Home (add a guest) From the Edit Home screen click the Share button. You are prompted to enter the email of the user you want to share the home with. Note that this user needs to create an account first. You can monitor the list of guests for a home in the Edit Home screen. 10 2.4.4 Remove a guest In the Edit Home screen, click the basket icon on the right side of the guest email. 11 2.4.5 Delete a home From the Edit Home, click the Delete Home button to remove a home. Note that you can only do so if there is no device linked to this home. You may transfer these device to another home or simply remove them before. 12 2.5 Add a new device From the side menu, click Add device. You can also do it from My Home screen when the home has not any device linked yet. Scan the QR code on the back of the device. You can also tap on the bottom of the screen to enter manually the key that appears on the label. 13 You then select the WiFi name and password you want your device to operate. By default the Wifi of your smartphone is selected but more WiFi can be browsed by clicking on the Wifi name. Click connect when information are filled. 14 You are prompted to switch your phones WiFi to the hotspot of your device. Do so in the settings of your phone and come back to the App and hit continue. 15 Enter a room name and the select the home you want to add the device to and hit Confirm. 16 2.6 Control your AC 2.6.1 Select an AC unit Select first a home by clicking My Rooms in the side menu and then selecting a home in My Homes screen. If you already selected a home, you can directly click My Rooms in the side menu. The list of all devices available for that home are listed. Click the device you want. 17 2.6.2 Control your AC After selecting a particular device, click mode to set you unit to off, cool, heat. Adjust the temperature with the arrows, or adjust the fan speed by clicking fan 18 2.6.3 Schedule Click the schedule icon to view or modify the schedule for a particular room: add a new time schedule by clicking add new device time or edit or remove any time schedule by clicking on it 19 2.6.4 Settings Modify any device settings by clicking the settings icon: you can link it to another room, change the room name or connect it to another device (see add a new device) or remove a device. 20 2.7 User Settings Clicking settings in the side menu. Set the temperature unit (Celsius or Fahrenheit) change and reset your password. The new password is sent by Email 21 FCC statement This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules: Operation is subject to the following two conditions:

*RF warning for Portable device: The device has been evaluated to meet general RF exposure requirement. The device can be used in portable exposure condition without restriction. This device is acting as slave and operating in the 2.4 GHz (2412 ~2462 MHz) Ad Hoc function is supported but not able to operate on non-US frequencies. Do not use the device with the environment which below minimum -30 or maximum over 50 . band. NOTE: This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures:
- Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
- Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
-Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected.
